"ft. Nicole Scherzinger" was the last nail in the coffin when this song came out. Before Jai Ho it was just the Pussycat Dolls, but by this stage it was the Pussycat Dolls ft. Nicole Scherzinger. They say this led to their original breakup which was really sad. We missed out on so many years of good music.

- I didn't know that but I wouldn't have made such an idiotic claim without facts to back it up. That being said, I don't believe that this music video is committing acts of cultural appropriation because Nicole Scherzinger looks like she has ancestral ties to India even though she is actually of Native Hawaiian, Ukrainian, Filipino, and German ancestry ("Scherzinger" is a German surname.) If anything, this music video is committing the act of cultural appreciation. Nobody accused Hilary Duff of committing cultural appropriation in the Tokyo scenes of her "Wake Up" music video.
