  • OMG, this is unbelievable! She is generous enough to make these FREE videos to help quilters, and folks think that people that are bitching about a video not being exactly what they want are seriously spoiled by all the FREE help here. WOW. She has probably been quilting for 20 years and if she sometimes will accidently go over something twice so what? She is a human being and so she's doing her best to help YOU. Not long ago if you wanted to learn how to quilt, you checked out a lot of library books and make notes. There was no internet. crazy, but true. Man, if you want something specific they still have some of those "books" (gasp}, but you'd need to learn it your own self. Just take a little time before you "demand" something on here that you don't see, you could always look it up.

  • The first hack bugs me. You cant bind porcelian with warm milk, it's not possible, once a fully glazed ceramic piece is cone fired, it's a done deal, and when it breaks, it breaks. Sorry yall, you cant bind plates with tape and warm milk, that's definitely a false hack

    • @@JanellaAdele Yes. It bonded but broke again when food was put on it (very messy) The clip is misleading. It may work to fix hairline cracks but not to put two or more pieces back together it just is not strong enough.

    • Actually...I usually DO have steel wool and a 9V battery when backpacking. It is the ONE sure-fire way to start a fire even if the tinder is rather soggy. (The battery is the one from a VERY old flashlight I still use. I have had it since the 70's! The steel wool is for cleaning my pots if they get sooty.

    • Elmer's glue was originally a casein product, made mostly of milk. Isn't now, which is why most of the old beauty and cleaning hacks using it do not work now.
