One of my favorite spidey moments of all time, brought back to life with modern technology! Animated in blender 3.6.
Massive shoutout to AgroFro, I used his 2004 Raimi Model as a base for the Black suit model used here! Resculpted in blender and textured on substance painter.

*This is actually my first time animating with blender (and in general)! Any constructive criticism is welcome :)* Also... Here's a correction!!! In the comparison I said the Spider-Man 3 Port was on PS2, PSP, and Xbox, this was a mistake, it was never released on the original Xbox, BUTTT it was released on the Wii, which is where I actually played the game as a kid!😅
His movement is a little unrealistic, e.g. the beginning how he wobbles both his shoulders. This could be fixed with AI/mo-cap and a good actor.

@@onigames7309 tobey had alot of good moments in the first spider-man game 2002 but it decline depending on the platform version in which some are completely different games entirety. some were good some of the other ones tobey wasn't even trying at all sometimes there's just only a few scenes so it all depends on which versions of the game. alot of the blame has to also go to activision knowing that this man had a busy schedule and got him doing multiple different recording sessions, over working him like that. for a cash grab movie tie ins in multi platforms. i can't fault him nor blame him but like i said it all depends on which versions of the game.
He did pretty good in the 1st and 3rd game ironic because the 2nd is the best gameplay wise
Hearing this audio back then really made me feel like Tobey really was just pissed off when recording lines And your remake turned out incredibly well!

The best part about this scene is that it takes place right before (I shit you not) he has a battle with Morbius.
I remember that! Wish it was harder, it was way too easy.
I wish Spider-Man 2 PS5 had morbius as a boss fight
Morbius was an actual character and Spider-Man villain before the movie.
Still remember that fight, it was pretty fun for what it was as well as creative having you hold off Morbius till day time with him at his strongest at night only for when the sun comes up for him to finally be weakened for us to finally beat him. Still have memories of him yelling "DIE" as he attacked.
Peter wasn’t having any shit in that boss fight. “Nice Fangs, you’ll be pickin’ them up off the ground in a minute.”

the original Spider Man 4 game was so good! Especially that part with the helicopter. I hope they make a remake of it too, and I hope it came out before the likely Remake of Miles' Spider Man Remaster (as happened with the 2018 one).
Awesome animation. This brings back a ton of good memories, especially since I own both PS2 and PS3 versions of Spider Man 3
i suggest you move the body a bit more, when you do a quick move like raising your fist in rage, you move your torso a bit and well that apllies to a lot of moves we do, it's less stiff than the original, but it could use just a bit of work for it to feel fully alive, nonetheless, i still loved both the set and animation itself.
appreciate the feedback! i definitely could've gone back and done some more refining haha, this is actually my first time animating in blender! i'll be sure to take your advice!

This is genuinely beautifully rendered, that render looks amazing!
I suggest if you want to improve animating, using footage of urself as reference for movements to help make them look fluid and more human like, also for objects, tables, or anything man made maybe add small imperfections, like tiny scratches, knicks, small little bit of dust, for unpainted metal add those scratches, theyre subtle amd not obvious until you actually look for them, btw you nailed the lightinf on this one, good job 👏

Really clean looking dude! You could make it look a bit more cinematic by making the camera move a tiny bit during the scene, but i love the accuracy!
thank you!!! i actually rendered a version where it had a shaky camera using this plugin i found! i liked how it turned out but when i put it side by side to the original cutscene but to me it just felt off because i wanted it to look as similar as possible yk? I'll definitely do it for future animations tho because it definitely does make it look 10x more cinematic! thanks for the feedback 😁
@@ZackIn3D i recommend using slow zoom-ins to show that symbiote peter is slowly going insane and that he isn't the same as normal peter :) The accuracy is actually insane, it's the exact same cutscene but remastered, makes me wish for a remake for the games haha

The game had the vampire mission only on the PSP and Playstation but not on Xbox which would of been amazing to see that mission on the xbox 360

One problem I just found is that his mouth doesn't seem to move when talking/raging. But except that most of it is really good!
that was actually by choice, in the movies, the costume uses a face shell so the mouth doesn't ever appear to move, though, it'd probably look better and more true to the game if it did add mouth movements
i think the original one looks animated better but just slightly, still good work though. I do like the shakey cam at the end.

This scene not being in the PS3/PC/X360 Versions is a crime
The animation itself is quite similar to the PS2 one but slightly jankier, as an animator it looks like the animation is too slow, it needs more snappier movements and more movements overall, in basic there is not enough Keyframes to ease up the robot movements. Animation isn’t a thing you have to complete in 1 day, the key is to take time and perfect it until satisfaction. I’ve seen this a lot. Art takes time and make sure to take yours. In general you need to make the movements feel realistic and not uncanny, I highly recommend using video references.

If this game were to be remade, I’d have the Treyarch version’s gameplay with all the Treyarch missions with a take on the VV missions
