In 2011, the New Orleans Pelicans (then Hornets) traded their franchise point guard, Chris Paul, to the Los Angeles Clippers. However, in 2012, the Hornets picked a superstar lock: Anthony Davis.
While Davis lived up to his superstar hype, the Pelicans made the playoffs only twice during the AD era.

The biggest problem I noticed with the Pelicans is strictly injuries/management. Their rosters always had the talent, but a combination of injuries and coaching has always prevented the Pelicans from flourishing.

The thing is Zion never wanted to be there to begin with. He doesnt like playing in the Nola. He wanted to play for the Knicks. I'm pretty sure he'll be gone within 5 years, so you might as well trade him while his stock is still high. It could be like when the Kings traded Demarcus Cousins while his stock was high. He was never the same player since after leaving the Kings.

1. I guess Zion will not win a title in New Orleans. He will win it in other team. 2. Around 5 3. Maybe 35-47 4. Because he is tired of losing.
1. I doubt he will unless he has a competent roster in the future and wants to commit to pelicans long term. 2. Around 4.5-5. They still have a bunch of young players so it is best to give them more minutes. 3. Around 25-30 wins at best. 4.
