Trimming operations are intended to heal cows' feet, not to hurt them. A new injury is equal to the appearance of white blood cells. A white blood cells to high in the milk, means that the milk is rejected by dairies...

    • What? I did not see a pasture either but other than you I read the title of the video and did not expect to see a pasture to beginn with. Pretty much every business like this has pastures not because they are the nice guys but it is easier and cheper to keep the cows that don´t need special attention on a pasture than inside a building all day! I bet a dime vs a dollar they have many large pastures but as the title of the video suggests this is about the tech and there is not much tech or anything to see when the cows are on the pasture eating grass. Always so quick on making a comment but not thinking about your words! I said this above somewhere that this is about the tech used to cut the animals hooves and it may look cruel but cutting the hooves is one of the most important things that you have to do to make their lives worth living and the way it is done here may look wierd but is more humane than what is done on farms that cannot affort such tech!

    • @@reinerhoch1357 I have been in farming for 40 years and the modern trend is for much larger herds 400/500 plus with the cattle housed indoors 365 days per year. Most smaller dairy farms have pastures but the big ones like this do not. You will often see the younger immature stock out in the fields but in the big operations once they start to be milked they are kept in. Incidentally, any one who knows what they are talking about only has to look at what the animals are eating to work out whether they are in permanent housing. There are other indicators but I'll leave you to work them out for yourself.

  • Зачем такие премудрости чтобы подрезать корове копыта? Первый способ, веревкой (определенным способом закинутую на рока , и вокруг ног), аккуратно кладешь корову на бок, далее клещами с усилителем бац бац и копыто в норме. А самый простой способ, прогонять периодически коров по асфальту, копыта сами отлетают.

  • Действительно НЕВЕРОЯТНО!!!! Худые коровы, воли не видят, спят на бетонном полу, едят непонятно что и самое главное как. Зачем им маникюр делают? Если копыта болят, то значит плохие условия для жизни у этих коров. Последней коровке очень сильно живот сдавили и ещё уложили так, как коровам и лежать нельзя. Бедные животные.

  • А я в детстве своей корове копыта подстригал без всякого садо-мазо, на воле, аккуратно спецножницами типа кусачек. А когда таких не было, то маленьким очень острым топориком. Поставил в нужное место, и киянкой по обушку тук! И кусочек ногтя срубил. И так понемногу маникюр наводишь. А корова стоит в это время ест спокойно.
