    • @@liveinshyam Duct tape is popularly known to be used in kidnappings and other crimes (mainly in movies and the mainstream entertainment industry) and the only other legal explanation for duct tape to be in Conan's van was that it's used to hold down the cameras. But there's no duct tape on the cameras..!

    • I learned to type on that old style typewriter...they actually worked well, were totally manual, and could last longer than the owner!...The keys were kinda heavy duty, but that made you develop a healthy, accurate stroke...after a few months, I could type at 60wpm, without error for maybe 10 minutes or so...and that class was a cool elective...filled with cute girls.

    • +Dvex - Of course, a woman would take precautions before meeting a stranger from a dating app. She'd likely meet in a neutral place, like a coffee shop, bar or outdoors, during the daytime. She might also text a friend with the guy's info and tell them about this meet-up, and maybe schedule a check-in call from them, so she has a "reason" to bail, as if her just wanting to leave because it's not going okay isn't enough. Those are steps many women take to protect themselves. I'm kind of surprised she gave him an address, though depending where she lived, she could view him on a monitor first. But, yeah...it sounded like a bizarre premise, so better safe than sorry.

    • Conan has been around since 1993. I saw the very first episode of "Late Night With Conan O'Brien", it came on after The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He hosted the Tonight Show for awhile after Jay Leno "retired". Jay suddenly wanted to come back taking the show back from Conan only to retire again soon after only to give the show to Jimmy Fallon, people were pissed at how Conan was treated. Conan left NBC and went to TBS.
