  • My big brother taught me how to play guitar and immersed me in the world of music. This was one of the songs he showed me about 10 years ago. TDCC has been my favorite band ever since. 6 years ago my brother killed himself, I never hear this song without thinking of my brother. But it doesnt make me sad, listening to this song (and the whole album) feels like getting a hug from a very good, old friend.

  • I used to blare this while driving around with my buddy when it first came out. He never gave any indication that he was into it. He recently passed away, so I checked his KZhead Playlist, looking for videos of him for his wake, and this was there saved under favorites. Miss you, Adam. Update: Thanks to everybody who commented. I lost yet another friend this week to a senseless death. After 20+ people in the last 15 years or so due to the opioid/fent epidemic, it could be enough to turn you nihilistic. However, there's still beauty in nature, music, art, and those you care about. Tell them you love them every single chance you get and don't forget to laugh. Life is a very precious thing. 💖

  • My younger and tougher sister and God Mother to my first and only baby, who shares a birthday one day apart from hers, passed away 9 months ago today. This was one of her fav songs, and Everytime I have been confronted by a trial or challenge following I found this song reminded me of her, HER BRAVE! I WANNA SEE ME BE BRAVE TOO! Honestly, she was beyond that! Strong and beautiful and brilliant too! I miss her everyday and this approachong new year untouched by her life and love is some times, some days and almost every other passing too much I believe to handle or hurdle through, but thank remember she wants to see me be brave, and I have to for our little man, if she can I can. And I will and stand as the only one who actually can. I'm my father's last daughter out of 3 and him and my son need me to be. Look after us sis, your so dearly missed and I'm not anywhere close to your consistent independence but I certainly will try because you always have more confidence in me than I saw for myself, hopefully k can embody that vision and begin to see myself the way you always had. Thank you for the time you gave me and I'm always grateful however brief, for the strength and resilient your ever outstretched hand in my regard. I look up to you in life and now in spirit too.   • I was on duty in Pensacola back in 2011 and they had a tv in the duty hut, and this band was making their MTV debut and I remember just being completely blown away by this song. Here I am 11 years later feeling the same exact way

  • I was barely out of high school and starting my first semester of college when this came out. Now, I have graduated college and on an internship in Europe. I still come back to this song and it brings me back to my teenage years
