I'm having some issues right now where I've been happy with the headset using some settings within the 'Engine' section geared towards FPS games.. Then a while back I turned on Sonar and heard a great difference with the spatial audio features and the noise reduction options.. But now I'm struggling to find the right settings for the new COD... I had an issue in PUBG too where it kind of sounds spatial, but I'm only hearing sounds that are infront of me or at set locations, sounds further away are really far away or inaduble.. Hope this makes sense.. I see I need to keep the 'Game' and 'Chat' playback devices to use Chatmix within the Sonar program, or if you still want to use the Gamedac device to use Chatmix you have to have the Outputs set differently. I'm having a bit of a nightmare finding the right output device options and sound settings right now!

hey man, i dont know why, but on my application do not appear all these different options such like you. Do you have any suggestion? The only options i can change are DTS, equalizer, gain and output
Ngl sidetone is nice so I know how loud I'm talking and so I can hear people talking to me irl.

I kept mic sidetone for years, didn't think of it in a narcissistic way, I just listened to my voice to make sure I sounded good in the mic but didn't really turn it off since it didn't really affect me. Though it could make you insecure about your voice, it's a preference have fun.

My headset has distorted sound the problem is with the headset settings or gamedac can you make a how to factory reset video?
I use Arctis Prime Headphones and Gamedac, which use the same audio drivers as the Arctis Pro. So can it be said that I partially own Arctis Pro?
One thing you forgot to add or you missed is that if you have a GameDac, on the Sonar Mixer you have to set your Game audio to (GameDAC Game) and Chat audio to (GameDAC Chat) and the reason why I brought this up is because I see that you yourself forgot to do that on the video and I was confused as to why if we both have the same headset you have different options selected than I do and its because on the video you have both Game and Chat audio going through (GameDAC Chat) so you are not using your 6 channel drivers for your game audio you are only using 2 channels lol

Is that why I couldn't get the audio to mix correctly. I could hear the other person's tv and I couldn't get it to turn him down and the game volume up.
@@jessicamckinney7508 Yeah, I’ve noticed every time ai start my PC I have to set the settings myself because for some reason, its always set to Chat on the Game sound. Its kinda annoying but I already got used to it.

Do these settings stay in the headset and be able to use on Xbox?
I downloaded the engine app and plugged everything in, but mine only appears in the app as "Arctis Nova Pro" and not "Arctic Pro + GameDAC". What's the issue and how can I fix it? I bought the PlayStation version as I don't own an Xbox.
Guessing Sonar is only through PC. Like I can't save the seige setting then use it on my PS5?

Side tone is so you can hear yourself and not be yelling without realizing it. Without it when you talk it's like wearing earplugs and you sound silly to your teammates.
Anyone else have a issue where your head is slightly bigger than most guys and it makes this headset almost uncomfortable, for the ear cups to cup my ears I have to take off the band on top. but that makes me feel the metal rubber and it feels rough and uncomfortable, any modifications I can do to fix this?

Just make sure your playback device is selected as the correct one for what your computer has as well cause if it doesn't match then you wont hear anything at all

I haven't seen anything on that one but I do really love this one especially for the price range. Would you say that version is significantly better making this particular headset obsolete or is this older model still worth its salt? lol

My Arctis Pro is very "muffled" the audio is not "clear" and I'm very upset. My old G933 was 100x better.
You might have the incorrect audio setting selected that's playing through your headset rather than the one you altered to fit your specific purpose of sound whoring. Or somewhere in your settings you put in an improper balance shifting your audio to make it heavier which would result in a muffled type of audio.
