2023 ж. 9 Там.
919 787 Рет қаралды

Bobbi Althoff joins the pod to discuss how she goes in and out of character, clears the air on the DMs that were sent from her account which claimed she “doesn’t do podcasts,” faces the “industry plant” accusations, talks about her journey from making maternity content to interviewing some of the world’s biggest stars, discusses her recent agency signing and massive PR team, responds to the conspiracy theories claiming that her computer scientist husband hacked the algorithm to boost her engagement, her recent inclination to keep her kids off-camera, how she has dealt with her new-found fame, and her interview preparation methods. We finish off with a game where we discover Bobbi’s white whale guest.

  • 47:00 Bobby’s social anxiety and admitting to getting nervous before going into places is very relatable and even inspiring considering how she’s been courageous enough to put herself out there in order for her to grow as a person and benefit monetarily bc plenty of ppl including myself hesitate when it comes to that. Her explanation of it was so real bc one can b able to carry a conversation w a small group of ppl or w a person directly but in front of a bigger room and or amongst unfamiliarity, the inner over-analyzation and uncomfortable behavior begins. Dave and ppl like him seemingly think those w social anxiety just can’t have an outgoing conversation but it depends on environment and it’s different for every individual. It helps ppl to understand social anxiety 👏🏾💛

  • Her approach is genius! So hilarious to see how guests react. When she’s uncomfortable the interviews aren’t as good, but that’s normal right? Maybe she should just post clips of those and not the whole interview. She’s still figuring it out and I believe in the podcast!
