It looks like BeamNG has improved a lot graphically.
They improve the graphics every update They now added motion blur and bloom

Yeah, now its looks better than Forza 5, you only need a powerful PC to see it.
Beam is slowly but surely turning into de-facto the best racing sim.
it always was the best racing sim, it has zero room for error. if they can get the MP aspect worked out way better, this could be the most unforgiving racing simulator ever used. no more taking out your opponents in a 24hr race without severe consequences, just like IRL.
The physics are still wonky. Cars are too slidey. They need to remodel their friction physics.
@@Stix_Zidinia Agree on that, car mass and tyre slip point are failing to reach the ffb properly and when it slips snaps back and forth between slide or grip.

This isnt a car simulator. Its a crash simulator and the car is set to be super squishy. And the physics aren't even realistic. Assettocorsa and GT has better physics than this game

Physics and graphics have been improved a lot as of late The draw of this being a legitimate simulator is there now

I remember playing the BeamNG Beta when it first came out, the game is barely recognisable now, absolutely incredible how far it’s come
Basically the only thing reminding of the old BeamNG is the radial menu. Oh, and the glorious tachometer which hasn't been changed at all

Love creators showcasing the real fun to be had on BeamNG! This game is truly underrated, and people may not realize how hard the driving physics are, impressive skills on your end! Great video, very satisfying 😊
I can't really agree about it being underrated. It is more popular than any other racing sim on PC. It definitely also has the attention of a lot of simracers with its potential. But it is also lacking in certain key areas, like tyre modelling and aerodynamics. These aspects are some of the key parts why it isn't regarded as the top sim racing title. Of course it lacks other gameplay elements to be up there, along with official multiplayer. But it has a bigger dev team than any other sim, apart from iRacing which still has more people. But they also need to fill roles which Beam doesn't due to the lack of services iRacing offers. Beam is definitely on the course to be a major player in the simracing scene, and racing games in general.

@@pashabiceps95 Yea that is just completely false. I mean let's start with an easy one with the fact that BeamNG doesn't yet simulate tyre temperatures or wear. Other sims do that. Drafting is also not a thing currently. There is more of course but those are very obvious ones without any nuance. It is the number 1 in certain areas. But like i said it lacks features to make it a top track racing sim.
@@namesii1880 That's the point it's not a track racing game (yet). The engine for this game is so flexible that the developers can't just drop everything at once without ensuring parity for every system out there. They said it themselves that this software will take years to develop due to how ambitious it is. If I mention the plethora of things this software simulates as opposed to other games out there you'd budge. I'm sure you're aware it's way beyond a soft-body physics simulator.
@@namesii1880 A lot of other racing games are truly truly scripted and those with eyes can see it clearly. This one not even close. This engine is flexible enough to be a boat, flight and car simulator all at once. The fact that there's mods for flying should give you a clue that the underlying mechanics are there although not to developers standard of quality.

The desert running looks insane where the truck is basically staying straight, but your hands and the steering wheel are moving like crazy.
That new Bastion V8 sound is just amazing and this 6.5l beast of an engine needed the Stage 3 Performance Long Block for making it even greater of a beast! 😎 Man, your driving skills are impeccable! 🤟😁

bruh I've bought this game a few hours ago and had a blast on this level and in rock crawling. Will buy a wheel just for this game. This does everything better than lot of different games united, and ground textures are simply photorealistic here. Suspension work is awesome as everything else. This game is the root of something huge and I feel like I've missed so much during all those years not paying attention to it :)

This is the only Simulator that nailed the activation of N20.
Yep, it even simulates engine damage from overtorque. Not even Gran Turismo does that!

@@azmiilian2277 That's never going to happen. Fictional vehicles is what makes BeamNG unique and gives developers freedom. Auto manufacturers come with too much restrictions. That's why modern racing games are devolving.

The bastion V8 is realy hard to master, you made a wheely on one front wheel wow, the road is so bad, that your phone dropt :>)
The suspension of the dunekicker is AMAZING!

I've been watching the 2023 Dakar and wanted to do something similar in Beam, this would be awesome with the multiplayer mod too!
It's pretty impressive with BeamMP, you just need a decent CPU to be able to handle all the players.

I have an older TMX and it's held well, but to see you move the wheel so fast is impressive, with the belts and all it sometimes becomes hard to turn the wheel even when ffb is on your side, making this all the more impressive!
