Amanda Ribas needs to stay in 1 division. She has won 2 in a row at Womens Strawweight. I would say she should face the winner of next weeks 5. Virna Jandiroba who has won 3 in a row vs 10. Loopy Godinez who has won 7 of her last 8 fights. Amanda is in good shape at Womens Strawweight, this loss shouldnt impact her.
Agreed, I don't know why she's fighting at flyweight especially against fighter much bigger than her like Maycee Barber. She got winning streak at strawweight she should stay there.
@@acerazak4087because they offered her rose in flyweight so she couldnt say no, other than that maybe for money reasons
Remember watching Rose come up through the ultimate fighter. She took big risks to make exciting fights. Happy to see her still kicking butt
😂😂😂😂
@@bnegs521 yeah I know it’s popular to hate on Rose lately but I like to do my own thinking.
Thats what we still want to see she was not on a spot to take risks after 2 losses tho
@@jimmyv1753 I'm not hating on her. She is what she is and is not a serious contender at 125.
@@Horvat04 true. Sadly it happens to all mature fighters. Early in the career they can take wild risks but those risks have significant down sides. Rose certainly has some areas where she struggles which was clearly evident in the finale. She has still beaten a who’s who of women’s mma champion level fighters. Also in the top two for finishes, fight of the night performances and number of titles she has held.
Lemos or loser of Weili vs Yan
Ribas is in between two weight classes and despite Rose being washed up not only lost to Rose but at times swung and missed by several feet with absurdly telegraphed attempted strikes. Ribas is what she is. An Invicta-level fighter fighting in the UFC. She's cute and quirky and she'll always have a bit of a fanbase. They should fight her often against fringe top-10 talent on lower level Fight Night cards. No more main events however. That would be asinine.
No where close to an invicta level fighter. 7 ufc wins over ranked opponents in two divisions??? Just because she had a bad showing against Rose doesn’t mean she’s trash.
It's crazy that wMMA is JJ, Rose, Weili, Val & Nunes. S/o to Lopita, Grasso, and a couple others. But that's literally all the contenders within the org.
@@elemexeErin ?
@@elemexebut your missing so many great names. even Taila Santos, who arguably beat Val and is in PFL now
@@BigSoldiermx yep, def falls into a couple others, Erin is very promising.
Am I only one who thought Ribas won a SD?
Probaby in a minority if not biased. Rose did much better than ribas everywhere, it was a clear UD
@@Horvat04 I thought Ribas landed more damage and pushed offense/forward the whole fight despite slightly being outstruck. Ribas also had more takedowns.
@@kigrey3994 ribas maybe did more but like quality over quantity right
