Those gold energies remind me of Christmas. I remember as a kid walking around Michaels (art store) during the holiday season and seeing all those bright colors and ornaments
I like the illustrations you have pulled. Gold ones are nice and shiny. In my own experience EX cards are harder to get. I'm in doubt either UPC or as many booster bundles for the same price. I like the promo cards but since pull rates are tough I'd like more packs to try my luck and buy promo cards as single. Enjoy comic con!

Wow Ellie, this was a great box. The number of your good hits exceeded the number of your EX cards (finally, lol). That Charmander card at the beginning just blew my mind. I knew you could do it. Have a great time at Comic Con. I wish I could join you, but I would have to travel a million miles lol.
you do realize that people open the packs off camera, put only god cards in the pack, re-seal it then "open" it on camera... right? it's fake. open your eyes and stop accepting everything at face value.
Lol sleazy. So you think Ellie just opens up 100 booster bundles, takes the good hits, reseals the packs, then puts them in the "one five one" box and all she came up with was a Charmander and a Machamp for us? If you think she scams, why didn't we see a Charizard ex? A Blastoise or Alakazam ex? Maybe she should've put a 1999 first edition Charizard in a 151 pack? Would you like that? She doesn't scam. She's opening up normal packs.
No worries, I have opened 3 of these Mew sets , 3 ETB's, 3 mini boosters, 3 Alakazam sets, and several tins and not done the set! I finally just pulled my first Art rare Charizard last night in one of these Mew sets. I have opened at least 150 packs so far! My area is getting dry on supply for 151 so I may have trade doubles or start buying my last few cards on TCG player to complete the set.
Oh it seems such a hard set to complete then! I don't think I've managed to complete any sets so far tbh... Maybe I need to start buying the singles for sure..
Wow, that Charmander alone practically paid half your box, congrats on the pulls! Would love to see you open another one, especially since the pull rates seem a lot better than any other product. And good luck finding those booster bundles, prices are definitely over inflated right now. If you find any in the wild, then you're extremely lucky!
$26.52 is the value on price charting.
The playmat design would be better suited on a flannel, but overall a good box IMO
Those hits are actually pretty good. 151 has been tough on pull rates for me. Although I did pull some good cards. I had to open a good amount of packs to get them.
The UPC and ETB I opened both had some great pulls. Third pack of the UPC I snagged the special illustration rare Zapdos ex. Suchhhhh a pretttyyy card. I picked up a few more special illustrations from the ETB. Picked up the Binder Collection and the Zapdos promo box annnnnnnd the pulls weren't great. Tons of duplicates this time around. Missing 18 cards still and will probably just look for singles to buy. It feels way better to pull them from packs but... I can't anymore.

It's unsurprising you received more hits given the amount of packs in this collection. Everything else is great with the extras, but this ultimately gives the best potential. May you one day get your Psyduck art card!
I haven't doubled in buying any 151 products. only getting one of each box available. but the premium collection box was a blast to open. I think I'm still missing a few like Krabby and Kingler of all cards. but hoping for kangaskan ex in every pack. many of the illustration rare cards I'm missing but I got my catepie illustration so I'm happy.
metapod is super rare also I'm missing that too. sparkle grass energy is also very difficult to pull.
Love the videos, got me to buy some of this set. I got extremely lucky and pulled a god pack in the Alakazam ex collection. Was the Charizard line but I much prefer the Blastoise. Nevertheless, I'm not complaining lol. Are you giving up ripping open this set or will you now just buy the singles? I think the prices of them will fluctuate more.
Oh a God pack is great! I would love to get it someday but yeah hopefully the Blastoise or the Venusaur... It's been a while but I still want to open more of this set, just not sure what to get...

Not counting the cosmos holo energies, you got 7 hits, most of them quite good. An almost 50% hit rate with this set is a huge win to me. Trying to complete the set by just ripping packs? I'm guessing with a whole lotta luck... 500 packs minimum. I hope you go/went to that trade event you were talking about to help you with your progress.
I'm definitely going to buy one of these once the price goes down to something reasonable!

Do you not collect the reverse holo and regular holo in your master set?
I don't show on camera but yes I do! I always put them in the binder. The holos in front followed by reverse and "regular" if it makes sense

Your Special Illustration Rares were the most valuable pulls not the Golds. Not a terrible box. Charmander is practically going for same as Erika SAR in English.
