I got some great ideas and suggestions from the comments on my last video on how to fix the belt strap on the Indiana Jones Adventure Series Raiders of the Lost Ark action figure and I wanted to share them with you all! Thank you for your support!
Featuring the Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones action figure from the Indiana Jones Adventure Series action figure line from Hasbro and Lucasfilm.

  • My method has been to cut off the belt hooks that are on the old 3-inch Hasbro Indy figures from 2008, and superglue them onto the AS belts after cutting off the existing strap. Which I think has a certain poetry to it, using bits from the figures I grew up with to help out the functionality of the modern ones.

  • I tried the first guy's suggestion and it worked great. In fact I can coil up the extended whip and slot it in and it stays in place although position is a bit off. Worth noting i'm using the Last Crusade version of Indy though.

  • Fortunately the later Indy figures have seemingly fixed the issue. I can only speaks for the deluxe Cairo Indy that I own, but the whip loop clips in and holds just fine! So does the pistol holster

    • May depend on your figure's packing too. My Cairo Indy has held up keeping looped but I haven't tested it much with the whip in there. But my Last Crusade Indy came out with the loop stretched flat open so I imagine I'll have to fight the plastic memory on that to get it to loop for a bit.

  • You don't need to move the belt up over the waist, you just need some space behind it so the plug can insert fully. I just prop the belt a bit to create the gape between it and his pants and then get the plug firmly inserted. If you try to plug in while the belt is pressing against his pants, it causes a barrier for the full peg insert, which is why it will pop open. Hope that makes sense. The first Indy figure is still fairly annoying with the peg still popping out but later versions tend to hold well. Overall, it's a pretty crap design choice by Hasbro.
