We used to have televised hearings, and after 2 years of me yelling at the TV for an objection, or to the prosecutor to stand up and have a spine, they canceled the televised hearings. The judges just abused people day in and day out.

Able to be trusted as being accurate or true; reliable. 2. commanding and self-confident; likely to be respected and obeyed. A lawyer explaining the letter of the law in which he IS an expert to someone who does not understand the law and is attempting to violate it would be and was using an “authoritative tone” because he was the authority on the matter or the “expert” as you say. • No, he was disrespectful another approach would be like this, “your Honor, at this point I don’t believe this court has any jurisdiction because the case is presently with the court of appeals after the court of appeals rules the matter will either be remanded to you or it’ll be assigned to another judge and at that point this court or another court will then have jurisdiction to reset the matter for trial so I appreciate the court wanting to keep this matter moving forward but until the matter is remanded from the court of appeal I really believe that we should not have to appear here every day at 1 o’clock and I’ve confirmed with my co-counsel and he is in agreement with this position so we’re both respectfully asking you if we can wait till the Court of Appeal makes her decision and then we will appear here the next day and we can get the matter back on the trail tracked“ it’s the same thing it’s just said nicely. The reason you do this is two things first is no reason to be a jerk unless you absolutely need to be second, well judges are supposed to remain unbiased at all times no matter what you do to them people are human beings and if you’re constantly aggravating the judge when you need a break or some accommodation like your witness is it ready for the next half hour, instead of the judge saying oh you need a half hour break, sure no problem will come back in a half hour then“ instead of that response you might hear oh I’m sorry counsel you don’t have another witness ready. Well the court time is very valuable and you didn’t bring this up before so we’re all standing here ready to go therefore if you don’t have a witness I’m gonna rest your case and you’re done.“ That’s why you play nice in the sandbox the same is true when dealing with opposing counsel yes you’re fighting over what should happen but there’s no need to make it personal many times lawyers come up to each other and say“look I’m really sorry but I have to ask for sanctions against you my client insist upon it I tried to talk him out of it but they’re insisting so I’m gonna ask but I’ll do it in a way where I hope the judge gets the impression that I’m not really that excited about doing this and then the other lawyer will say thanks for the heads up appreciate it and then the lawyer will say something like your owner my client insist that I request sanctions blah blah blah and the judge will get the message that the lawyer really doesn’t wanna do this but the client insists on it or you can be a jerky lawyer like some of them are and you could just stand up and start screaming about how you want all the sanctions against the other party and you better pray that you don’t make a mistake during the remainder of that case or ever again if you have that same judge or same lawyer because people remember it’s like football or hockey when a guy hit somebody towards the end of the game and gets away with it they remember and they take it out the next year

The good news is such a judge can be more easily removed from office if they do come to the attention of the public. Judges tend to be better in federal courts because it's a higher bar and more extensive screening process (appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate). But sometimes you get some real dingbats there too, and they're appointed for life so unfortunately it's almost impossible to get rid of them unless they're impeached, resign, or die.

From the public educators, employees and officials, and police, prosecutors and judges, of the smallest towns, right up thru the presidency! There isnt an honest public employee or official, cop, or politician in America, OR ANY COUNTRY! This is an entirely unsustainable situation! We are living in Bizarro world now, where honesty, truth, honor and empathy, ...and dutiful civil service and representation, have been replaced by deceit, lies, greed and self serving apathy, and abuse of power and of the system, ...for personal gain and retaliation against citizens that bruise their precious, entitled egos!
