  • It could potentially have some noticeable effect on our interpretation of visible light. Certainly it does not push the light into the 365-395 range that most blacklights and blacklight flashlights use. May even have some functional use. Get a 365, they're not much money for a decent one(15-40USD), lots of fun/scientific uses. I have a nice one, and a few UV lasers. I modified the monocle I'm wearing in my profile pic with UV filters for some of my projects. Fun stuff, I highly recommend it. Oh yeah, and buy/find/make lots of glow in the dark $#!+, Not just blacklight stuff. 🕊️♥️🍀🧠🎶💪

    • "black" light is a (rather confusing) term used to rever to ultraviolet light, which has a frequency higher than purple, which our eyes can't see. It's a higher frequency and thus at a higher energy level than visible light. Trying to use filters to create it is like trying to put a tree back together by swinging the axe backwards
