Visiting a small Retro Museum located in the countryside of Gifu in Japan
Going there without a vehicle is rather tricky.
We did took public transport though. At Nagoya station we took a JR local train to Gifu station. At Gifu station, we took bus N83 for 38 stops to Shigura. The museum is 5 minutes walk from the bus stop.
Gifu Retro Museum
323 Shigura, Yamagata, Gifu 501-2103, Japan
This is opened on Friday to Monday, 10am to 5pm. Also opens on holidays.

  • 3:40 They actually had one of those in a lounge in my university. Sandwiches, salads, milk, pudding cups - it was a one-stop lunch spot. 17:17 One of the first ever portable TVs, it was marketed as something to take with you camping or to the beach. Just plug it into your car's cigarette lighter, turn it on, and tune in a station. (Assuming you could find one, that is.)

  • After Burner is a good old SEGA game from the 80s. Came out the year after Top Gun if I am correct. I remember playing it back then. I recognized the game from the screen before I saw the game title. Odd how some things just come right to mind, even after 30+ years.
