Indians are really good in science and numbers yet none of thier local smartphone survive. Indian market are occupied by Chinese or americans electronic or software products. Most of the IT companies in india provides services and software products to american companies. So it's more or less a backup service for silicon valleys. India is still centuries behind their chinese and americans compatriots in my opinion as a tech savvy person? Despite india produce tons of engineers and doctors or programmers the policies they have could not attract the investor's around the world . So the next silicon valley will be china not india in near future.
This is an EXCELLENT video, well done. I'd bet $1000 that India is gonna outpace China and America. The main point in this video is the 25 or so hubs that teach students technology. America is busy fighting over things like abortion and gun rights every year, India is just doing their work, rather quietly but aggressive. India is the future, America is a dying powerhouse.

Truly amazing. India went from nothing to this in only a few years. Most of its neighbors, especially Pakistan, still concentrate on war, religion extremists, and destruction. But here it is India coming up and becoming a rich and developed nation all from intelligence, engineering, and ideas. As an Israeli, I simply love India. Israel also is a very entrepreneurial country, that needs to rely on intelligence to survive (doesn't have natural resources). Also here Computer Science is one of the top, cause it allows to put ideas into practice with just a laptop. India is Israel's brother, from Israel we really respect you!
Meanwhile Israel doesn't even exists 🤪🤪
Ever heard of Japan, South Korea and China? When did they start? Study history dude! India needs more freedom and opportunities. Only few lucky people in India are able to leverage their talent in the way these Bengaluru techies do, which is certainly impressive, but unfortunately, only possible for the elitists of the society most of the times. The vast majority of India continues to suffer. Look at India's condition in research. It's pathetic! India is way behind China, Japan, South Korea, and most western countries in Research and Innovation. The funny things is, it's nearly impossible to find a reliable source of nutritional information on Indian vegetables, and that a lot of(perhaps majority of) Indians despise hugs, and even if they don't, they'll frown at it. VICE News has done a great job at broadening it's audience. It's a great business strategy! After all, India has 1Billion+ people, and nearly 35% population uses the internet if I am not wrong. :)

India has so many people, that they will also effectively have many bright and highly educated people. However, you'll hear very little about Indian scientists, and if you do, most of them will be US or UK based. Many Indians want to go to University and study some sciences, especially Informatics, but they won't go into research and development. To them, their degree is just a key to get a job. U guys should visit India's DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization)... Its filled with a bunch of high school interns and proffessors.😂😂
@@supernovanotp1938 the only thing they be doing is fucking up the govt money in R&D..
@@raghavendravaspula7536 Umm lemme re-iterate... DRDO is filled with bunch of 17-18 yr old IITians not any simple genius ones.... the beyond genius one's and also their genius Professors. Just to give them some experience and knowledge, real work of DRDO happens behind the curtain. No one knows where. Also the govt funnding is way low. It's slowly increasing. Also think the amount of Designs and ideas those kids are pumping out. If U don't call that an investment I donno what is?
Really 😂
Silicon valley is the Banglore of United States....🇮🇳🎗️
Ohh my god...!! FINALLYY a man , who feels the same as me and is above my fellow and a little stupid people,
As a native Bengaluru guy, I could agree to everything except the background music used. WTF!!!
The fact they didn't mentioned CEO's of Google, Microsoft, and IBM now are Indians is kinda remarkable
They don't live in india anymore. They are westerners now, not indians
@@prasunkumar117 still they r from India
@@mithudas4987 they gave up their Indian nationality wayy back
@@heisenbergyo5578 y only Indians r CEO in American companies not real American!
@@prasunkumar117 you have got a point but the company headquarters be in India then they would be.
with that kind of background music you might as well throw in some snake charmers and mandatory cow shots right? boomers
timelapse of heavily crowded places added ✔
Autos.
LOL... Yeah Right :)
@aboobacker siddique I live in India, Haven't seen a Cow in 3 years.
Exactly. Fed up of this western propaganda. We should go to America and take drone shots of Skidrow street where they are literally crapping outside with needles and drugs everywhere and represent that as murica. 😂
Feeling happy to see this development in India. And I too stay in Bangalore the silicon Valley of india🇮🇳 💛❤
the guy at 7:48 is such a rich savage he really told the reporter " you can ask me you questions while i golf"
Jesus that Mittal dude is like a walking meme ... dude is floating on his own cloud of ego ...
He seems like a proper Chad
Moment he opened his mouth! It was unbearable! 😂
He probably smells bad tho
So I am not the only one who felt that!! 😂👍🏽
@Tez Mago this seems to be a safe space for us. Let's gather around fire and talk about this😂
That golf 🏌️♂️ man reminds me cinema villain 😂😂😂
He's Munna from mirzapur
Makhi Movie villain 😂
Lol that guy was legit creepy AF I don't care how much he's worth.
LOL! So true! Looks like he played golf just to showcase his wealth. 😂😂
Exactly, he also has a cool dude swag and the voice of a cold villain straight out of movies.
Do another sequel of this video in probably 2024, visit india again and u'll see this tech + startup ecosystem nearly quadrapled..
Ah! The year 2000, when the only thing we had to worry about was the Millennium bug.
4:25 I love the professor's confident and the joy on his face.... "Not one, Many" just wow
But old Indian lectures who hold moral of gurus still exist they feel happy in their students achievement.
Excellent observation
What else do you expect? Million of students give entrance exams and only the top not get admission.
This is the music that we hear only when west shows showcase it as ours
Surya Pratap Singh Gahalout it is yours is it not?

@@quinnreverance611 nope. It's not mine. I am from assam, India. This music does not represent anyone in India, maybe the Punjabi or rajasthani. #Lawyered.
@@thegreatgatsby8180 That is representative of America. You wouldn't have to do that because many, many people and publications already do that as a means of journalism and a critique meant to shine the light on how things got to that point.

This is power of new india ..and power of PM Modi's vision .make in India
Hey Vice Make a video on Unified Payment System of India(UPI). This is one thing India is even ahead of original silicon valley or whole west.
Is this invented in India ?
50% comments: Stop that cringey outdated music intro
Change that too 80%.
Make it 90%
100% from 50% comment is Indish ppl. Come on why hate their origin music. India song slap.
@@kimmyhedd2650 because that is not origin music for entire country, india is diverse and bigger than your assumption. Also it's western media bias, they will show random narrow crowded streets, some outdated music which no indian has ever listened. This just shows that stereotype mindset they have.
Make it 98%
Remove that background music. That music is very irritating. Why whenever Western news factory try to make a documentary on India the keep this kind of music.?
No, it's authentic
I know what you mean... it's annoying af
As an indian it's very very annoying.
ITS INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC AT ITS CORE .. I ENJOY THIS
Its cultural appropriation !

$1000 to convert your car to a hybrid?!? Where the hell is that here in America???
It does exist. A guy from my college (in India) is an ex tesla engineer who used to run a similar startup out of boston. Actually the hybrid startup dude in the video is from my college too - maybe it's the same startup?
It can't be in america or else american auto giants will go crazy...
tRump is working on a coal powered hybrid.
Mechanics in America make 30x more than mechanics in India so it would probably be more expensive
@Neel Javia Sure dude. Why don't you go invent something instead of trolling everyone on the comment section.
