    • Once your car stopped at the departure, and you walk towards the immigration at the down floor entrance; they won’t allow your people to follow you inside. The guys with the trolley can now support you from there, but if you are a friendly person you can talk to the police and immigration officers that you want your families to follow you inside, you can be nice to them and they will allow them to follow you in, you know what I mean by be nice to them

  • It is a bitter experience for me and my family when we went to receive our visitor from the usa. As you said no places for visitors to sit and wait for our guests. The airport security agents are so rude and unfriendly. There are no billboard notices for arrivals. Then, at the point of departure, the securities wont allow you to see off your guests unless you give them bribe of 1,000 naira. The old terminal needs to be closed entirely as it is so hot and smelly.

    • I really hope they can do something in the case of that arrival, sitting under the sun is not a good idea, you don’t even have a chair to sit, it’s a terrible situation.

    • Bitter experience is not a bad thing for some families. It's actually good for them especially for those people who have made it a career to pop up on on every KZhead content about Nigeria to post negative comments about Nigeria in bad faith. We all know that most of their "negative experiences" are nothing but made-up stories. May it be another year of "bitter experience" for them.

    • Many international airports do NOT have a place where “families” can sit around to await arrivals. What often obtains is a relatively limited area where someone would be holding a sign with the arriving passenger(s) name or one could just drive up to almost immediately pick up a passenger (ie, no parking or prolonged waiting). The Nigerian reality is that access to the terminal building(s) is relatively severely limited, not just because of normal security concerns common worldwide (and justifiably heightened due to terrorist concerns in countries like Nigeria), but because many Nigerians substantively ‘abuse’ access by turning it into areas to loiter of bring the family to sightsee. PS: Btw, while realizing we’re Nigerians, the international airport is not the best place to bring the family and friends to “see off” travelers. Say your family and friends goodbyes at home or at the hotel, and then drop them off at the airport. That’s best practice globally.

  • I like the new face of the airport, they should just try and do something concerning the space waiting space at the arrival

  • You have a nice camera view, the new terminal is really nice but the staff attitude really need to be attended to, the arrival is another problem… you will stay far away from the gate waiting for your family, no tent or any place to sit

  • I have a Canadian residency. Can I travel to Ethiopia on two separate tickets, meaning going from Cairo to Bole Airport, leaving the arrival hall and going to the departure hall at the same time, and traveling with another ticket from Bole Airport to Toronto?

    • @@oludaily first of all, thank you very much for your videos. i think it's really great that you filmed everything and uploaded it here for us. this way, travelers can get an idea of the surroundings even from home and are better prepared for their trip. especially in countries like nigeria, where things are not at all or poorly signposted or there is no airport map available and the airport itself doesn't provide any information online. not tourist friendly, sad but true. that's why you just have to rely on other sources of informaton like your videos. thank you very much for your valuable work.

    • ok, i watched the video again from 2:49 min. i didn't make myself clear enough, sorry about that. i meant, do you have a separate video about the arrival area of the OLD terminal.
