Such is life, always better safe than sorry...
Good on you two! Hi, this is Kathleen (aka Mrs. Richie) interrupting his comment to say those kittens are adorable ... and I thank you for your big hearts.
Hi Kathleen! You and Richie need to come visit the Red Barn and meet us and the kitties!
Thanks for the bonus kitty content. Too cute! (and very worthwhile)
I think I'll add a little to each upcoming episode, up until they head back to Morti's. Glad to hear you enjoyed!
Bless you and your wife! Cat rescue is a noble endeavor.
Yep, agree. We really enjoy helping where we can. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I've been saying I've got five more years before I retire for the last 7 years. Such is life indeed. Keep at it Señor Red Barn!
At it I shall be keeping! BTW, I can highly recommend retirement.
Love the cat rescue content!! 👍🏼
Thanks for that. I'll keep you folks update through our fostering time with the Happy Hour Crew!
Good on you and your wife for helping the local animal rescue 💕 we give locally to humane society and Peninsula friends of Animals. I love the Happy Hour crew names 🥂🍸🍹🥃 Back to car stuff, how well does the Mezzere electric water pump work? I have a Jegs electric pump on my work bench to retrofit my side mounted belt driven water pump. I’m at the point where do I mess with something that isn’t broke 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for the great videos, great attitude!!! Arr, keep the shows coming.
Another well done, informative and entertaining video where Chris pulls the curtain back on how the LS motor and Boxster transaxle fit into the chassis. I really liked the comparison of the early 911 axles vs the newer Carrera axles. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos so we all learn. Cheers, Michael
Thanks Michael! Glad to hear you're enjoying. I'm no Ian Karr, but I do my best!
If times had been twisted...and Porsche used shelbys engine reasonings....the cobra and the 914 would have made some monsters of competition....one can only dream...
Love those Ronal wheels :)
Me too! Not too common and I think they're a great fit for the vibe of this build. Thanks for watching / commenting!
Project car life... Been there and as Mike Finnegan says "this is why you don't have to write a script". BTW I like the tech geek stuff. More things to add to the knowledge base which may come in handy.
Script? I can't imagine! I'll keep the tech geek stuff coming. Thanks for watching and commenting. Greatly appreciated.
Always up for some kitty love, my wife worked at the kitten nursery at the SPCA down here. And our tortie, of course, came from her work. You have a great attitude about the inevitable hang ups of building. I nearly lost my s#!t trying to mate the trans back onto the Honda Fit engine for the third time as the input splines kept butting into the clutch splines inexplicably.
Well, to be fully transparent, I deleted about 15 minutes of the attempted mating of the trans/engine! I figured no one would be interested in watching that struggle!
Stuff happens, but you seem to handle it well and drive on. In stead of start throwing things, even if you think about it!
It took me a long time to get there but I finally came around to believing that essentially everything is a learning experience and a chance to be(come) the kind of person you want to be. Plus, it's not like I HAVE to get the car on the road, I'm not getting paid, it's not a customer's car, etc. That does make it easier...
I ran all my heater hoses in the front trunk, hit me up if you want some pictures
I'm always interested in seeing what others have done! I went the way I did because I wanted the heater to be fed by hot water from ahead of the thermostat. Not that I'm driving when it's that cold, but every little bit helps. Plus, I'm trying to keep my front trunk as simplistic as I can.
