Naval Kamikaze Sea Drone How it works using Starlink Satellite

This is the Ukrainian Self Made Kamakazi drone and works by sucking in water from a hatch and flushing out a jet of water that propels the Naval drone at a speed of 50 miles per hour.
All this at a cost of $250,000 while its high-value targets are worth more than $650 million.
They usually work like a wolf pack hunting its target, while they are being controlled through Starlink Video link, destroying bridges, and recently managed to penetrate an important harbor and damage two vessels.
We will also be looking into the step-by-step process of how this works and the engineering behind it all in the videos ahead.
Get ready to dive into the world of the Ukrainian Self-Made, Naval Khami kahzi, Sea Drone - a high-tech marvel that's making waves in naval warfare!
Picture this, a naval drone that can, extract water from a hatch below it's , and then unleash a powerful jet of water, propelling it at an astonishing speed of 50 mph.
But what's even more mind-blowing is that this cutting-edge technology only costs $250,000, comparing to its potential targets which are valued at a staggering cost of $650 million!
They usually operates like a wolf pack, hunting their target while being controlled through the Starlink Video , destroying bridges, and recently managing to penetrate an important harbour resulting with the damage of two vessels.
We will also be looking into the step-by-step process of how this works and the engineering behind it, all in the videos ahead so don't miss a beat.

  • The round, angled plates on top of the front half of the drone are radar reflectors, making the drones less visible to radar. Phalanx guns did not activate when their ship was attacked by these original sea drones. The "Sea Babies" are larger, with longer range and do not have the reflectors. There is video of one of them being taken out by phalanx guns.

  • Very impressive video! As an unmanned boat practitioner, I would like to express some thoughts. Ukrainian unmanned boats are relatively covert when sailing, but it does not mean that they can navigate underwater. Because it does not adopt a fully enclosed design and does not have any diving mechanisms, it does not have the ability to perform underwater tasks.

  • Sea drones definitely changed naval warfare forever. Imagine if serious development goes into this weapon, it'd be sailing way faster, dives deeper, stealthier and even can carry ranged weapons! Imagine a group of the drones would get close to a warship as semi-submersibles, and then within a distance of a few km, emerges, each fires 3 or 4 modified javelin missiles then dives back down and leave. While the warship's defense system is busy trying to deal with the incoming missiles, kamikaze drone ships emerge and hits the warship.

  • Nice video, very informative. These vesels can be further improved. The main componets (engine, fuel, control unit & explonsive charge) can be completely submerged within a topedo like frame. If the charge is ignated underwater the water pressure from the blast will be more devastated to the ship target and also to concrete structions (check dumbbaster bombs of wwii). The sensors and the engin intake air could be above water on a fin "bridge" or on snorkel and periscope masts, in that way the visual signature of the vehicle can be smaller and would be able to operate at lower final speeds at noice and wave stealth mode. These should be at the rear of the vesel in order for any ship fire to fall behind. I like the swarm function... these tactics mean that any Fishing trawler can launch 6-7 of these vessels and destroy fleets witin their bases.

There is a submarine-like sail cover above the submarine, equipped with sonar and torpedo tubes, and all the functions of a submarine. It is fully equipped and can launch small unmanned craft to monitor, lock and attack enemy targets. In the future, it will be equipped with anti-ship missiles or torpedoes to attack surface targets, or perform tasks such as mine laying, ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), or mine warfare. While Taiwan is building its first IDS submarine, it is also building unmanned submarines, which will perform joint combat missions in the future.

    • I also have some questions. There is 700 km from Ukraine to Kerch bridge. 50 mph? For a short burst, maybe. This thing is not big enough to have such a range at high speeds. That means it has long range cruise speed maybe 10 mph, thet would make them exposed for many hours. Guidance is also very questionable. I think, actually I'm pretty sure they use NATO assets for guidance. RQ-4, RC-135, P-8...... I suspect they are delivered by civilian ships to the area and there is direct NATO involvement in guidance.

  • of course, this is a model, but why does the bomb have an unnecessary tail? it would be more useful if the drone could dive when approaching a target and vice versa, float up in front of it. Also, it is helpful to have more than one "eye"

  • I wonder if the arches could be made to 'hum' like a tuning forks. Most drones use FM signals, sat relays are too expensive to be disposable like kamikaze drones. FM pilot control, and a Reaper style drones being fed real-time data from NATO central. The flares used to distract certain missiles could also be used at high value targets, if flashing LEDs will blind a camera that is using 'OCR' style self targeting for the last part of the flight, that is even better because a capacitor can be recharged quickly. Will a 6-barrel .22lr be far away? One on each corner of a high value building, all connected to the other guns on nearby buildings so you have 3D aiming.

  • Doesnt the warship and submarine detected any movement in the water since the engine will make alot of noise that a submarine can detect? The low profile is its main advantage. Other than that it will be render useless before it is even near the warship. Nonetheless good effort.

    • @@Aitelly worth the try was Kalibr destroying the factory where these boast are built. What’s the point of attacking the bridge, where civilians were killed? No point of attacking the ships in the back sea either, kalibrs are launched at Ukraine from the Kaspian sea, not Black Sea. Pointless waste of of resources, Ukraine is just desperate to do something to satisfy western bosses.

  • How about semi-submersible drone to avoid visual detection? Ukraine sea drone navigate above water like normal sea boat. So it can be detected by visual surveillance or electronic radar. The underwater sea drone can cruise under the sea to avoid such detection. Only air snorkel for engine air intake/exhaust gas, antenna for communication and camera periscope will be exposed over the water. Most of ship hulls and deck are underwater to reduce water or wave resistance. It will extend its range too.

    @youcantata@youcantata8 ай бұрын
    • For a given speed the more you are underwater, the more drag you have. Approximately 800 times more drag (water vs air). If you want to go fast you have to barely touch the water, you have to fly over it. Submarines are the slowest of all vessels. No submarine can catch a moving ship (the ship is faster). They launch torpedos which travel a little bit faster than a ship, but only for a few km, before sinking due to the lack of propulsion.
