    • Hi! I dont have the EU citizenship but Im doing my masters studies in Germany so I have the right to work here now and afterwards for a few years. Finding a job is a looooooong story. 🥲 I will make a video about this separately! 🥰

    • I'm by no means an expert on this topic but the rules for getting a work visa depend on where you come from, which type of job you want do, how long you want to work here, etc. As far as I know people from EEA/EU countries, the US, Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland and South Korea can apply for a work permit after coming here without a visa. Of cause only if you don't want to start working immediatly after coming to Germany, as you are not allowed to work until your work permit application was approved. And this may take some time. If you are coming from another country you will definitely have to apply for a work visa before coming to Germany. In this case things might get complicated because as far as I know in most cases you already need to have a job offer in order to apply for the work visa. How easy it is to find a company that is willing to offer you a job probably varies greatly depending on factors like your qualification and your ability to speak German, shortage of qualified domestic employees, etc. Unfortunately I heard of some companies complaining that hiring people that need a work visa first is too much of a hassle with all the paperwork and not knowing when they are allowed to come here and start working.

    • @@Flo-vn9ty totally agree with all the things you said. Also in general bigger companies seem to want to take care of the visa issue for you, smaller companies- not so much. Maybe it's too much work for smaller companies since they dont have as much of the resources financially and legally.
