I do believe that Palpatine respected the fact that Kenobi truly did embody the principles of the Jedi Order. There was no pride or deception with Obi-Wan. He only wanted to serve others. Palpatine may not have agreed with these principles but he knew most of the other Jedi had become arrogant and complacent, not to mention proud. Obi-Wan actually walked the walk of a true Jedi.
Principles. That's what you're alluding to. 👏👏👏
Also Obi Wan ís a true hero, a very powerful and wise Jedi, a great leader during the war, kept defeating Maul, Savage (both at the same time sometimes). Palps máy have respected him, but he is my favorite fictional character
Obi wan defeated 2/3 of his apprentices
But what about Yoda? He had the same qualities…
@@hunterhobbs4374 Yoda became complacent. Some of his bad leadership choices led in part to Palpatine’s grand plan succeeding. One might even call it arrogance.
I think this is one of the best examples of how you CAN respect someone, but still hate them and see them as an enemy
It is wise to have respect for a capable enemy
@@jeremybryant5778Beat me to it... I can tell you some of my worst defeats have come from not respecting the enemy.
@@jeffshackleford3152settle down lmao your worst defeats haha video games don't count .
@@user-zj1rk4ec1u I am talking jiu-jitsu, wrestling, poker, magic the gathering and video games as well, and any other competitive thing I have done that I fail to mention here.
Well.. all of that character-building is gone in the franchise, now. Now we have Mary Sue and the Woke Order. 🙄
Obi-Wan epitomized the saying, "Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard." He resolved, despite his average connection to the force, to be the best Jedi he could be. And he ended being one ofbthe best of all time.
I wouldn’t say he had an average connection to the force.
@@mitchjames9350It’s canon that Obi-Wan didn’t have one of the strongest connections to the force… It’s not a matter of shame by any means, like this person said, it only goes to show the man’s grit lol
@@imahumanperson361 yeah, Obi Wan did not have the strongest connection to the force, but he was nothing close to "average". Of course his hard work and decades of trainning puted him among monsters like Windu, Dooku or even Yoda as one of the best duelist of his time. And his wise on the force was worthy of being Qui Gon's student. But his connection to the force was clearly above average, as his midiclorian levels reveal. Edit: if I'm not mistaken, Obi Wan even has more midiclorians than Mace, so, yeah, nothing "average" to me
@@eliasgill2453 I think they meant average for a Jedi, not average for a human. Nothing too special or crazy. Besides as we know and the point of it all goes to show, the midiclorians aren't the end-all-be-all of the thing.
@@classic_jam yeah, no. Thats my point. The average midiclorians for a jedi was like 10000 or something like that. Obi Wan has 13400 (little more or less, but close to that). That is FAR from begin an "average" jedi. Edit: I'm not saying Obi Wan has gifted powers, talent without discipline is just a wasted potential.
" I sense Lord Vader is in danger " one of my favorite lines , the surprise and concern in his voice when he says it is awesome !
He also respected Qui Gon Jinn in legends. In fact, he might be the only Jedi he truly respected and feared, because he knew that Qui Gon was the true embodiment of what the Jedi are supposed to be, understanding and wise, and he wasn’t a puppet for the Jedi council. Even Darth Plaguies feared him, which is why Darth Maul was sent to kill Qui Gon to prevent him from training the chosen one.
Palpatine feared Yoda the most, he knew he wouldn’t stand a chance in a prolonged fight against Yoda.
Obi-Wans skill, wisdom and power is constantly underated in Star Wars media.
Right, I honestly think obi wan held back alot too
He sacrificed himself is the only reason that he lost in a New Hope. He may have beaten Vader a second time had the sacrifice hadn't been necessary.
He was also held back by the old jedi ways of teaching and failed anakin when anakin needed moral and emotional support
Obi-Wan never underestimated his opponents, he always overestimated his opponents till proven otherwise
This is why he is one of the greatest masters of the Force ever. He wasn’t arrogant; he was humble, yet never belittled himself. Above all, he was a man with true clarity, he saw people as they were, not under the lens of his vices.
@@luckless9487 Well one of the biggest strenghts also to Kenobi was the fact that he was one of the best lighstaber duelists. In canon Kenobi wasnt actually particulary strong in the force atleast compared to many others, but Kenobi was very skilled with the saber and its also proven by the fact that he defeated Vader twice, darth maul countless times, greavous and many others
Anakin is the only one he overestimated.
@@Slim333yBoi oh he did and didn't since he taught him
What you said about Obi Wan vs Anakin actually adds more depth I never considered, Anakin loses because he's conflicted while Obi Wan triumphs because he is resolved.
NO, Anakin just wasn't as good as Kenobi nor was he more Powerful, he was always just meant to kill Palpatine in the way that he killed Palpatine, because he didn't outright challenge him, he couldn't Sidious was far too Powerful
Yoda pointed out his conflictions and fears the first time he met Anakin. The same weaknesses and lack of convictions that kept him from being able to beat Obi-Wan.
@TheStellarmanCo. I was watching another video and also something Ewan said that he believed Obi would've lost the fight if it was prolonged as he was slowly being broken down
Anakin wasn't conflicted, he was going to kill Obi Wan. He lost because he was arrogant
I thought Palpatine generally hated Kenobi, in Legends all other High Ranking Clones simple got a Holo-recording of Palpatine executing order 66, Cody was the only High Rank Clone that got an ACTUAL Hologram of Palpatine giving the order.
Well tbf, ofc his New apprentice's master would be a priority one target, thats the obvious part
Kenobi dropped Maul, Grievous, and Anakin, damn right you better respect him.
Zam wesell too
dropped Vader, TWICE
@@Ahtnagarpand Maul, twice.
How can Palpatine underestimate Obi-Wan when he literally cut Darth Maul in half and destroyed Grevious
That is what I was thinking while watching this video. I was surprised it was not mentioned despite plenty of footage of Kenobi fighting Maul.
And burned ani.
Palp got the good half.
Because maul was arrogant against Obiwan and in the clone wars smoked him when he was with ventless and grievous was weakened as this was after getting his lungs destroyed by mace windu and Obiwan got smoked against count dooku in front of palpatine eyes and anakin was conflicted against his brother in all but blood Obiwan also after years after years he killed people but was conflicted to Obiwan kenobi
Because Palpatine chalked it up not to Obi-wan being strong but his apprentices being weak. When Obi-wan bested his freshly tried Anakin who had shown his power in the darkside, Palpatine shat a brick and realized that maybe Grievous and Maul weren't necessarily weak, but Obi-wan was a beast.
Obi-Wan is the greatest. He's always been my favorite. Steady, calm, selfless, and measured. Strong willed but without opposing internal conflicts. The perfect Jedi.
I do like Palatine's insight but we can't forget that Obi-Wan's mastery of Form 3 also played a crucial role. Vader was unable to break through Obi-Wan's style.
What really broke him though, wasn't swordplay it was pride. The often memed bit of "you underestimate my power" " don't try it" Anakin was too high on the thrill of the dark side after wiping out the Seperatist leaders, especially Nute Gunray who started it all by threatening Padme's life and world
Anakin was always impatient, he would always eventually make a mistake through over aggression, Obi one played defence and waited for that moment
Anakin lost to Obi-Wan the same way Vader lost to Luke, He wasn’t trying to destroy them The way Vader did Luke on Empire Strikes Back seems to be what Anakin/Vader was doing, get them to join Him Anakin believed the Jedi and Sith were both evil, once Vader had to use the dark side just to live he couldn’t turn back or he would literally cease to exist There is a part specific in Revenge of the Sith where Anakin got truly pist at Obi-Wan, it was when he refused to pull him away from the lava after obi-Wan took his arm and legs Anakin was never loyal to Palpatine, he tricked him with Padme, then gave him a suit forced lightning would destroy I thought it had been decided Vader was the greatest light saber dualists and force user, Vader was weaker than Anakin Vader threw the Emperor and destroyed while eating lightning attack, when before Yoda was knocked across a room by it
@@NoahLodell-nk8njThe main thing to take from it all is Obiwan had 1 goal. Defeat Vader. End of debate. Vader even if fully lost as Anakin had so much conflict inside himself, about Padme, wanting to be more powerful than Obiwan, feeling conflicted about his betrayal and his arrogance about how powerful he was or not. There was just no way he would ever defeat someone who has a single purpose as strong as a battle hardened Obiwan. Even if he had to face Mace Windu or any of the other generals alone he would have lost. It is only afterwards that he became bitter and singleminded and wanting revenge on the Jedi that he became more powerful. But when facing Luke he became doubtful again and lost the final battle. Inner conflict is the key element of loss when 2 powerful force wielders clash.
solid points@@dgray3771
You put it best in one of your previous videos, about Midichlorian count being force potential. Although Obi-Wan was at the minimum count, he exceeded his own potential by his focus, dedication, commitment, and will to the order and his training under Qui Gon. This makes him one of the greatest of all the Jedi.
And he stood his ground and defeated far stronger force users.
Maybe this can explain some of Sabine's ability & growth in Ahsoka as a budding jedi.
@@TheGavalanchenah that’s just Disney writing
Outside of Dooku, who's style was a weakness of Obi's, he's either killed or maimed 3 Dark Side users/Generals - Maul 2x, Grevious (who killed many jedi prior) and Anakin, he also more than held his own against Ventres and Savage Opress/Maul team. Sooo yeah i don't know how someone so prescient as Palpatine can miss those details.
He also defeated durge and cad bane the 2 best bounty hunters of that time.
Ben kenobi that’s solid with soruesu and atriu and refined with the force beats dooku I don’t care what anyone says. Dooku had palpatines assistance taking out Obiwan
Master Kenobi maybe, but not young Kenobi circa early Clone Wars, Dooku is a master duelist only Yoda and Windu (maybe Cin Dralig) could beat him - lets give him his props where due @@robertbarone3548
@@robertbarone3548 So it was Palpatine's subtle cheer leading that gave Dooku the edge to knock him out in their final duel....?
@DeathRaze Palpatine was creating subtle cracks on Obi-Wan's force shield, which Dooku was able to exploit. That's why Obi-Wan was so easily ragdolled. By the time of their final encounter, Dooku was not able to break Obi-Wan via blade to blade combat anymore, and Dooku was actually more weary of Obi-Wan than Anakin. This is why he took him out quickly and with the Force to boot.
Anakin actually lost because he was so focused and had tunnel vision on Mustafar, whereas Obi-Wan was more patient and aware of his surroundings and playing chess in the dual while Anakin was playing checkers.
Funny. I always respected Kenobi for basically the same reason. Even in the darkest moments of his life, he was able to find the resolve to carry on and do what needed to be done. Often the Jedi that turn to darkness do so because of some inner conflict. Kenobi never let the horrible cituations confuse or anger him. His mind was always clear. Truly a stoic man.
Qui-gon Jinn: Keep your concentration here and now where it belongs. Obi-Wan: But Master Yoda says I should be mindful of the future. Qui-Gon Jinn: But not at the expense of the moment. Be mindful of the living force young padawan.
I feel like this a journey all of us go through as we first get acquainted with Obi-Wan and then learn more about all he's accomplished and how crucial his role among events has been... from under-estimation to reverence...
Like dooku stated during the clone wars: “he’s a worthy adversary.”
Yeah dude I think you are by far the best Star Wars channel but the cost of being the best is continuing to be the best. I enjoy your videos many I’ve seen many times I hope you continue and continue to be great. The force will be with you, always.
Wow, thanks!
Look up star wars theory, nerdrotics, there's many WAY better then this guy. He just repeats himself a lot
@@TheStupendousWave100% definately the best
What makes him my favorite Jedi is that while he is extremely powerful, his sheer determination, intelligence and faith in the force makes him one of the best Jedi to have ever lived.
God’s honest truth
At the end of Obi Wan series, Vader told Sidious he was going to hunt obi wan down but Sidious paid no mind and told Vader to stop his hunt. Sidious was still underestimating Kenobis resolve and that bit him in the ass later😂
Or he didn’t want to risk losing Vader to obi wan, I mean Obi Wan beat maul and anakin.
don't forget general grievous
@@mitchjames9350He beat Vader TWICE!
We probably shouldn't think of that as canon...it makes Obi-Wan out to be less than of a man & Jedi that he was 10 years ago; letting a mass murderer live when he has the chance to end that evil for good isn't what a Jedi would do.
@@Clipses1Kenobi left Vader burning alive in a lava flow instead of finishing the job once already. Dude couldn’t even spare one force push while he took Vaders saber.
That's kind of a real life lesson i've met a lot of very talented people in a lot of different areas... but the ones who truly excel are NOT the ones with the most talent usually. more often, they are the ones with consistency and focus.
this channel is so f good i cannot get enough of it. whenever i think i cant again have my eyes opened to new perspectives within the deep lore I am surprised once more. How great that after 20 some years we are still diving deeper into the psychology of these characters in this story. Even after watching the video I assumed this was some video that's been out for years and years but nope just last month. Please keep it up and thanks for all the time and effort that goes into these videos. I can feel how much joy the team must get from doing them.
Great video and your reference to ROJ with Luke on the second Death Star gave me chills. Love your content and thank you!!
How else? He defeated a much more poweful Anakin now Darth Vader by turning his arrogance against him... "Dont try it" 🔥
Obi wan is so cool man, seeing him meditate with black robes gets me going so hard. That one pic is absolutely amazing.
That was deep! Never looked at it from that perspective. Awesome vid!! Watched it twice.
I feel like Sidious made such a dior mistake of constantly overlooking and underestimating Obi Wan as a potential threat rather than Qui Gon, Mace Windu, or Yoda, just because Kenobi wasn’t a powerful Jedi doesn’t mean he wasn’t the greatest threat to the Sith hell i even deem him to be a bigger threat than Yoda
Christian Dior?
Obi Wan was powerful, I think Palpatine didn’t want to lose vader to obi wan.
Don’t get me wrong. Obi-Wan is a great mentor. He’s wise as Master Yoda and as powerful as Master Windu. I am truly thankful to be his apprentice. In some ways... a lot of ways, I’m really ahead of him. I’m ready for the trials, but he feels that I’m too unpredictable. He won’t let me move on. PADME- That must be frustrating. ANAKIN- It’s worse. He’s overly critical, he never listens, he... he doesn’t understand! It’s not fair!
Obi Wan was a true servant of the people. In a way he embodied the teachings of Master Qui Gonn. Obi Wan wasn’t too much into politics.
Great article/video. very enjoyable. thanks
If you read any of the legends Clone Wars novels Sidious' relationship with Obi-Wan is just so fun to read. Kenobi is like Palpatine's sitcom arch-nemesis, he goes on these cartoonishly evil inner monolougues about Obi-Wan and how many times he's subtly tried to have the man killed but Obi-Wan just.... Won't die.
Keep posting good content that's why I'm subbed love ya keep at it
I think Kenobi met Palpatine at the end of Phantom Menace
I don't care if there are bigger sci-fi channels on here, or even if there's a better star wars channel...this channel is my go-to for all things star wars
That was great video.
Awesome video. Gives me an even stronger respect for Yoda and Obi Wan. Alot of stories show that focused resolve can become a near unstoppable force when it's achieved.
Never thought about the fact that Obi-Wan took out Maul, Grievous and Vader-Anakin. Dooku seemed to school him every time though 😅 Always thought Obi-Wan was basically the ideal Jedi Knight. Aside from perhaps his failure to see and stop Anakin's fall, he is an Exemplar of the Jedi Order. Unfortunately the order wasn't perfect. He wasn't as rebellious/defiant as Qui Gon, worked within the confines of the order as best he could, seemed fully aligned with the light and rarely tempted by the darkside, pretty much always did the right thing as best he could, went toe to toe with multiple Sith & survived or won. Saved Luke & Leia as children. Trained Luke, ultimately saving the galaxy.
Yet another great video
As Luke said, "your overconfidence is your weakness"
Very enlighting. Wasn't really into the movies but I do enjoy lore
Obi-Wan was extremely capable ,extremely skilfull. He deserves all the respect. Palpatine worships power. And Yoda and Obi-Wan wield it. Obi-Wan is THE Master of Soresu. May the Force be with you too😊
Great content.
this might have been your best holocron yet
Kenobi on his way to Mustafar: I just wanna talk to him Padme: why are you holding that lightsaber? Kenobi: I just wanna talk to him
AMAZING!!! thanks SW
Since u did this vid on what he thought of Obiwan can u also do a video in what he thought of the other Jedi masters he interacted with and or what the Jedi masters thought of Palpetine as the war progressed
Best Star Wars commentary video.
I still think obi-wan was the chosen one
Elaporate more.
He almost does seem to be the most important character
I say Kenobi was to be a Guide or Protector for the chosen one, after all he was almost always there for anakin and luke
"It is said that the Chosen One would bring balance to the force" Vader DID bring balance to the force. The Jedi far outnumbered the Sith until Order 66. Vader killed more Jedi than anyone else. Vader then killed the Sith after fighting the LAST JEDI. Vader did restore balance to the force. Just the prophecy sounded a lot better in theory than it was in practice.
Well done
If a particular jedi destroyed both your prized apprentices and destroyed a prized weapon at the time (general grevious) i think you should notice he isnt a push over even in death he was still a problem
I think was because of the high ground!😂
Something else I remembered from the RotS novelization was that the Jedi not only regarded Kenobi as THE Master of Soresu, but the most cunning Jedi of all (as per the Jedi Council). I think it has to do with the fact that he was a master strategist during the Clone Wars, becoming one of the few High Jedi Generals commanding an entire Corp at such young age. Kenobi expressed genuine surprise at both compliments as if he could not fathom why others would hold him at such high regard. I think he would’ve agreed with Sidious’ assessment of himself pre-Mustafar as just another regular Jedi lol. Also, as per Dooku’s observation and later the description of the Mustafar duel, I noticed that Kenobi was extremely competent at letting go of himself and carrying out his duty as a Jedi by surrendering to the Force and letting it guide his hand. Some descriptors I remembered Dooku used were that Kenobi became a vessel of the Force and was like a window where the Force shines through, or something along these lines. If you are familiar with Buddhism which George Lucas drew heavy inspiration from in creating the Jedi, this “letting go” is basically what monks are supposed to do (which I also think is what the Jedi originally meant by the attachment rule - by letting go of attachments, they can be free of fear and gain clarity, which Kenobi demonstrated perfectly in the face of Satine’s death and Skywalker’s betrayal). With this principle, Kenobi was able to withstand all the tragedy that would otherwise make a person insane to perform his duty while firmly remain in the Light. I think this is what made Kenobi truly a powerful Jedi - his had mastery over the mind and the intellect and skill to back it up.
I’ve thought about something several times that I think would be interesting to explore. I understand vaders darkness and his willingness to kill. However, did Vader ever meet with a person singly that he, in a sense, allowed to live essentially because that person was deemed no threat or because he was more forgiving than the emperor? I’m thinking about a random person that may have rendered aid to Vader.
That quote seems to stand up and also lends to Qui Gon. Having a purpose. Obi'wan showed up with a purpose and that purpose was singular, to end Darth Vader. It teases at the fact that the Jedi had lost to Sidious is because they had lost their purpose being enmeshed in Senate Politics.
To be fair it wasn’t Anakin that defeated the Jedi temple. It was the suddenness, swiftness and sheer number of 501st and Coruscant guard that overwhelmed the Jedi. I honestly think if Anakin went alone he would have been overwhelmed.
Palaptine: I turned the wrong jedi
Last fight scene in Kenobi, master Kenobi was also channing the pure lightside
Obi Wan is, time and again, underestimated. But he is actually s very skilled fighter and the Kenobi show really showed how powerful he became with the force and saber, not too mention his mental prowness. His skills are underrated even by the fans.
Jolly good video
Palpatine said leave him or we will never make it! Anakin should of listened....😆
Underestimated forever. Even in this video phrases like “so much lesser to Qui-Gon” uttered so many times while in all fairness the greatest achievement of Qui-Gon’s career as a Jedi is training Obi-Wan Kenobi to become the Jedi he was.
First time I watched Star Wars was with actor Alec guiness and I always saw more of the embodiment of the light side than yoda being the light side
Yeah Yoda seemed to be more of a Force Mystic Hermit at that point, mainly about teaching and training Luke.
Palpatine and Obi-Wan are two of my favorites!!!! 🛡️🗡️
This is so hard to watch in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. It's absolutely heartbreaking. The movies were so limited in the time we got to see Anakin and Obi Wan interact which made the final duel less heartbreaking. But if you've watched the clone wars and see countless hours of their time together, seeing this hurts to watch in a way the original never achieved. Absolutely brilliant and gut wrenching
What an analysis! I can’t wait reassess Obi-wan myself!!!
Never underestimate the high ground!
Obi-Wan Kenobi is that guy.
One thing I always found interesting was the Palpatine always wanted Obi Wan to die and keep Skywalker alive while Dooku really wanted Obi Wan to live and preferred Skywalker died. Truly opposite desires from Master and Apprentice, which further shows just how out of the loop Dooku was to Sidious’s true intentions.
Despite how one may hate and wish to see one's enemy's destroyed. You can still respect and fear them for the qualities and organisation that they represent. Which is perfectly apt jn respect of Kenobi, whom defeated and maimed two of Sidious apprentices as well as went toe to toe with the other and resisted all of Sidious attempts to kill him off during the clone wars.
Have you seen the deleted scenes on the fight of yoda and Palpatine. Actually yoda defeated him and he barely managed to escape. Really an interesting perspective
there's alot of learning from this really. resolve without ego, is way more powerful way of being in life. Letting go is better than hubris and revenge.
The one flaw here is that Obi didn't fulfill any resolution to kill Vader and made an ignorant assumption he'd slowly die in misery instead of finishing him off right there on the lava banks. I'll also maintain that the movie could have done a much better job with the Yoda/Sidious fight. It should have been as long and intricate as Obi/Vader.
That's only bc those movies are prequels... Anakin was never going to die.
Here's the thing, powerful people like sidious and anakin thought natural power (the force) would trump skill and persistence. Kenobi showed that it doesn't work that way. Kenobi wasn't really strong in the force but his belief in the jedi way and himself was stronger than some magical ability.
Yes. I think Obi-Wan was probably the most well rounded Jedi in terms of attributes. Others were stronger in the force, but weaker in character.
Was palpatine's face disfigured during his fight with Mace or was his true form simply revealed?
I would like to know more about the first Jedi and sith and how they came into conflict in the first place
Google The Jedaii
The first jedi was named yin and sith, yang. One of the light, one dark. They both fought for each other’s ability. The light could not sleep without yang, the dark could not see without yin.
Honestly obi-wan vs maul and savage should be a clue to anyone that kenobi is dangerous when backed into a corner but he chooses to generally show great restraint otherwise
Palpatine had to think highly of Kenobi, Obi-Wan took out both his apprentices..Maul & Vader. Ultimately The Emperor ends up dead & gone but Obi-Wan Kenobi carries on as a Force Ghost, always eternal. Suck On That Sidious! 😉
Without watching the video, the answer is that Obi-Wan was the boss
You have to understand, Sidious was on a whole other level of power compared to Obi-Wan, so he didnt see him as worthy of being dealt with directly. However, Sidious did aknowldege that he was skilled and proved to be a more attention focused obsticle in his grand plan. So it's a unusual situation.
I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Yoda and Obiwan had went to Mustafar together instead of splitting up.
Obi Wan record in saber duels is quite impressive...second only to Ahsoka possibly?
There was a flow of “chosen”, from Yoda to Dooku, to Qui-gon to Obi Won to Anakin to Luke. The Will of the Force flowed through all of them…..until it was finally destroyed by the Dark Side of Disney.
@@jsbcody Rey Trilogy Era Disney was truly the Sith Lord we've been looking for. I think that trilogy represents an Empire Stikes Back kind of moment for Star Wars, when all hope seems lost and the darkness is winning. I think Filoni & Ahsoka were like baby Luke, being secreted away and being quiet custodians of the light. They are now coming to the fore and ushering in A New Hope for the future of Star Wars.
Obi Wan never loses. Even with a loss comes s lesson. There was always a teaching involved? Think about it? Kenobi never fought without purpose. May The Force be With You.
Kenobi and the chancellor met when obi wan disguised himself as a bounty hunter
"I will do what i must"
Palpatine wanted obi wan first which is why he told dooku to convince him and bring him onto our side
I think it's the other way around? He wanted Obi dead and told Dooku to do it but Dooku kept trying to tell Palps that he could turn him or at the very least leave the Order. The last time Dooku failed to kill Obi was the last time Palps let him stay alive
They came face to face at the end of the phantom menace, celebrations & qui gons funeral
TSW has said it before His duel with Yoda and Vaders defeat proved to Sidious the power of a Jedi's resolve
In order 66, non of the Jedi (as far as I know) were expecting the clones or anakin himself to turn on them. This led to complete confusion and shock. Non of them were in their Jedi state. It was chaos!
Kenobi is an interesting one, qt times he does seem weak take rots for example dooku tosses him aside like a doll, boba fett kicks him off the platform on kamino, but when it matters he shows up lol, cuts maul in half, beats anakin, beats maul again, beats grevious matches rotj vader
Yoda pointed out his conflictions and fears the first time he met Anakin. The same weaknesses and lack of convictions that kept him from being able to beat Obi-Wan.
This reminds me of Haki in One Piece.
Make a video what is the true reason why Anakin Skywalker lost his potential I heard his mental state or was it his injuries or both
I often get fascinated by how much the topic is pushed despite the fact that it never happened.
Kenobi was great, but I think it really says a lot about how impactful QuiGon was.
Nice
I got a question after obi wan fights anakin assuming obi wan killed anakin during their 1v1 do u think the galaxy could have risen up to defeat the newly formed empire and sidious or do u think they needed vader to take out sidious
It’s true Obi Wan was not a powerful Jedi nor was he one of the most powerful Jedi but after so many years of dedication and self discipline and training he did succeeded in establishing himself as one of the greatest Jedi to ever live despite not being the Chosen One
