This is how you make video's. No BS about your life, no long stories that have nothing to do with anything. Right to the point and a very good tutorial of what you did without saying a word.
I saw someone sitting in this imaginary chair position and it baffled the crap out of me; had to find out how it was done, and now I know. My goodness, I thought the person had some super powerful muscles, at first, and then I was like, oh hell no, this can't be. Thanks for sharing and taking this load off my very inquisitive mind. I won't give it away on other videos. 😉
The real magic here is how neatly you cut with an angle grinder!

No one's talking about how hard it is to be in that sitting position... For hours.
They usually only hold it a couple minutes at a time, mix in some other act to give their leg a rest then do it again. Can't do this for 4-8 ours if you have weak gluts and quads.
You are right. Even a few minutes at a time takes a lot of muscle control.
They should put it on left and right leg so they can switch, lol.
Yea, I was thinking, "Only sit that way long enough to take a pic!"
Did you guys not see him get up from the sitting position? This means if he got tired he can just get up and stretch for a bit. (When doing this trick you're supposed to be sitting leaning on your elbow[s] on your knee[s] like how'd you sit during a boring meeting without anything to lean on except on yourself so you don't have to make the trick hurt your posture by trying to sit up pretending you're leaning your back on nothing.)
Dang Son, you are indeed a master fabricator! Thanks for showing all of us behind scenes of tricks and also building them so that we can see how they're made. I definitely subscribed to your Channel. Everything about this video was top notch. I liked your close-ups and how you showed just enough of the pieces anyone could follow along. Best of all - you didn't waste our time narrating every little step you did. Great job.

except one thing: He forgot to edit out the loud clang the device made with each step he took. :(
En mi ciudad vi dos trucos como estos, y al ver las plataformas pude imaginarme algo así, no estaba equivocado. Excelente trabajo, admirable ilusión.
The precision of steel rods with heavy duty hinges, solid steel platform, magnets ; all these are fine. But the incredible level of performance is possible only through patience, perseverance, practice and perfection of these practitioners as living statues. 😊😊👌👌👍👍

@@jeffreyb6165 thanks! I try to make my comments constructive, and this was a lot of really great technical bits that most people don't notice. Yeah but you can't take the bottom part with you out on the street.
Hi Johann, what amazes me is how that curved metal piece at the top of the frame doesn't cut into his butt? Even if it has padding, your resting all your weight pretty much in that spot for a long time. But among the many things I'd love to know is one thing about magicians. If they don't tell their secrets, how do you learn magic tricks? There are the very basic tricks everyone could do because they are so common, but beyond a simple, well known trick, how does one get into magic and learn the fundamental techniques to fill up your 'portfolio' of tricks. That's what I have always wondered.
@@jonothandoeser Oh, they do, very easily and often. It's disguised as their "sitting" mat prop, such as a doormat. Unfortunately, it is also pretty obvious how the trick is done once you've noticed the role the mat plays and think about how it might be working a bit more, especially if there are some small metallic parts poking out from the shoe area
