Outro music by David Vonk/DaJaVo
I'm convinced Tim is doing these videos only to talk about the AW3423DWF at this point
He wants them to sell out so a new model releases 😂
Well, what are the missing features from the MSI Monitor? You could at least mention them.
A new Firmware came out for it the other day, M3B107. I wonder if RTINGS or Tim will do a test.
He also had a video were he talked about the AW3423DWF when first released as it had a few problems but that was addressed in firmware updates. Tim knows monitors. Its simple when it comes to the AW3423DWF, its the best value 3440x1440 oled monitor. Thats all he is really saying and will continue to say it unless somethings gets cheaper....
Yeah i would go too with the AW3423DWF now i have an AW3821DW, but i am curious what are the difs between: MSI MEG 342C and MSI MAG 341CQP,
Tim is trying really hard to get me to buy an OLED monitor with all these videos
Do it! Lol
I agree, he's doing a superb job! 😁😎👍
I agree, because I dont know, what is better. 49" super ultrawide on 5120x1440 or 32" 3840x2160. It is a hard decision.
Got my hands on a AW3225QF from an Acer predator IPS - I can't go back Oled is just insane in any game (no hdr for me)
honestly ! - my Omen x27 with at best 0.72ms and 1.77ms GtG for me it's not that much of a difference because on overdrive fastest' on a great TN, without any mistakes in picture to see. shurely wqhd and especially the polarizer can not compare with OLED reaction-time-wise i didn't missed much, also in terms of black-levels tho and IPS is no gaming monitor as i have seen may the asus 360hz could be but seriously i don't believe
I ordered the 4K Alienware monitor. It's 365 USD cheaper than the Asus OLED in my country, so I figured that's what makes sense to me.
I did the same with the MSI. Its 200 cheaper than the alienware and 450 less than the asus. The alienware was backordered and I'm not a fan of curved screens.
I got the Alienware because I didn’t want to wait since it was the first to come out and I love it I actually like the curve don’t even notice it. All great options similar performance if any just personal preference
Not flat
yep, same here. I also think I'll have a better time dealing with Dell support than the others. The curve is mild enough that I think I'll like it
@@lk5388 Huh, in my country the MSI is nearly the same price as the Asus. How strange.
Been researching this topic all morning as a complete beginner. Very fortunate that i caught this sub 1 hour of release
Yup. This channel has been a huge help for me
For 4k gigabyte > asus
You guys always do a great job of making the reviewed monitors displayed content actually look good on youtube ❤
Awesome work on all of the recent videos Tim! I can tell you're really loving the ROG Swift PG32UCDM, but can you give reference to if a video will be made about the Aorus FO32U2 or FO32U2P? It's a few hundred dollars cheaper depending on if you get the Display Port 2.1 capable version, and more importantly available for pre-order online without having to pay scalper price. Would love to know how it stacks up. Thanks!
Thank you for your work putting this together!
I'm waiting for this time next year so I can build fresh. New complete setup for a new house. This content has been great for keeping up to date on monitors, something I used to find very cryptic before the likes of mub and rtings. Cheers!
i'm very appreciated for this helped video to choose the Best Oled monitor on the market keep going up👍
Hello guys ! great work as usually ! can you please tell us when you will review the AORUS F032U2P please ! i dunno which one to buy the aorus one or the asus one ? thanks !
Thanks for this video.
After watching your videos regarding OLED Monitors I got a good deal on Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 for 800 euro in Europe and I can honestly say that I cannot go back to LED/LCD. The colours are so beautiful and 175 fps is more than enough for me. Regarding Burn-In I guess we'll live our lives and see how it goes in a couple of years. All the best and thanks for your videos!
What made you chose the Samsung over the Alienware, are the mini ports problem?
@@ivanpetrov7379 I got it for 800 € and the other ones were 900+ €. Plus it has the Samsung OS with all the Smart Apps so when I’m done using it or I upgrade I will use it as a TV because it also has decent speakers and a remote. The cables - Mini Display and Mini HDMI - are not a big issue for me. I paid 10 € for a 3m Mini-Display cable. But I only did this because of my setup where my PC is far from me. The monitor comes with a 1.5m Mini Display cable in the box. Either way you go, whatever you choose, OLED monitor changed my life. If you can afford it, I highly recommend getting any OLED monitor. The colours are so beautiful and crystal clear. I will never go back to LED/IPS etc… All the best!
For the price / cost here in the UK, especially for gaming, the AW3225QF for 4K OLED is the only way to go, for a few reasons, it's general availability, and it's cost, it's £300-500 cheaper than its competitors and can usually be picked up right now, while the ASUS, LG and MSI variants aren't available or even released yet, back to the cost though it is a huge saving for something with like-for-like performance and a good feature set.
not to mention the vastly superior warranty (advanced exchange) I have dealt with ASUS and MSI for motherboard RMAS and it was such a painful experience I have never purchased their products again.
Well I hope you like curved 16:9
In Slovakia there's only 3 monitors available and only on order right now: Alienware AW3225QF for 1069€, MSI MPG 321URX for 1399€ and ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM for 1669€. The Asus also has some bad reviews for text clarity. The Alienware is the no-brainer here.
@@michalsvihla1403 i'm also living in slovakia and pre ordered the AW3225QF. 1700 for the asus is crazy.
@@zanfox Nice :) I'll have to wait a year or so to have enough saved up to buy one. :D And even then I may end up buying a 34" VA Ultrawide for 450 instead just to save money. :DD
Keen to see the review for the gigabyte FO32U2P.
Hey, nice vid guys! What about the LG 27GS95QE? thx!
This is such a clear video, thank you, love you also consider pricing outside US as it’s always completely different
Boight the alienware 34 oled yesterday and its arriving tomorrow... so hyped
And?
Did it blow your mind?
So to answer this, I had the samsung oled g8 before but sent it back because of coil whine. Both of them definetly are super good monitors with butter smooth reaction times, crytal clear pictures, lively/vibrant colors (in gaming! The desktop and apps not so much especially when using hdr but thats just current limitations of these monitors as far as i understand). Only downside is the alienware is closer to my face as the samsung one was further back, might get a new table just because of this xd (Though this is a super Personal "downside" which i coud have researched beforehand). So all in all, for the price of 850€ (i live in germany) im satisfied and dont think i will buy a new monitor for atleast 5 years+. For comparison i was using 1920x1080 @75hz before. The difference is night and day i cannot go back, ever. I say this as i had to go back for a few days after sending the g8 back.
I am looking forward to your MSI MAG 32UPX review!
Can you please do a quick test and see if DLDSR/DSR works on the LG OLED in 480HZ mode. Thanks so much!
Did you forget to review the 27GS95qe?
I defiantly want woled LG panel / new versions to come out :)
I got an Alienware 👽 AW3423DWF last year and I have not been disappointed
the Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P and AORUS FO32U2 released in europe with the P variant (the one with DP2.1 UHBR20) being 200 euro more than the AORUS FO32U2/ASUS PG32UCDM/MSI MPG321URX all of which are priced at 1.5k euro atm. but i have not see a single review for the Gigabyte models
Realistically the ASUS goes for 1700 to 1800. I think the ASUS Store had a sale running selling a few for 1400 but those have been sold out for weeks now. Also the Gigabyte versions seemingly were the only ones you could actually buy for a few days, the rest seems to be sold out since the initial shipment.
Hey, will be reviewing the cooler master GZ2711 OLED? Can't find any reviews but is available to purchase. Is this a bad sign?
I got the LG 32gs95ue last week and it does not disappoint. I feel like I may never need to upgrade again
will you review the refreshed 27gs95qe?
would you recommend the pg32ucdm for productivity ?
Tim are you planning on reviewing the new MSI 34" QOLED?
Recently ordered LG 32GS95UE. I got it on a great price (around $800). Just waiting on it to arrive now.
Got my AW3423DWF like a month ago. I was debating whether to get it or to wait for the PG34WCDM for the extra hz but considering how the prices in my country are i went with the AW plus i didnt feel like waiting any longer. Boi did i make the right choice because the PG arrived in my country and its $770 more than the AW which i got for $855, almost twice the price for just 75 more hz, Insanity!
What is your recommendation for 27 inch LCD 1440p
Did u ever test the LG 45GR95QE ? would like to get a Big 21/9 aspect ratio monitor and i think there is no bigger oled gaming monitor in this aspect ... thanks. I would have gone with the oled g9 you advise but its 32/9 so losing some height compared to 21/9
I still have the AW3423DW still love it. I have an i1 Display pro to calibrate monitor. Can you do an updated version on how to calibertate these OLED or QD-OLED monitors. Really dumb it down for viewers like me. LOL
Did you not get the Gigabyte monitor with DP 2.1 for review?
Is the Samsung G85SB the same panel as the Alienware mentioned for best ultra wide? If so are they getting updated iterations?
I really want to get Asus PG32UCDM but it is sold out everywhere. I might end up with the LG 4K option. I heard the matte screen is not too much of an issue.
I am curious to your thoughts on ASUS ProArt PA348CGV. I do productivity work (statistics, Excel, Davinci Resolve) about 2/3rds of the time and gaming (ordinarily single-player on this machine) the remainder. Color accuracy in REC709 is very important to me. This is a 120 Hz 1440p monitor. I am not yet willing to go OLED.
HELL YEAH MONITOR TIME!
What's up with the delay on the FO32U2P review?
What do you think of Philips Evnia's 32:9 OLED? Is its HDR1000 mode's calibration firmware fixed yet? Are its Amblight leds really too low brightness? Have you checked it out outside of videos?...
I love my LG32GS95UE. Happy there are options for every use case!
i am trying so hard to find this monitor. i am in Singapore and LG does not bring this in yet...
@@jamesmadison3108 I love it...good luck on your quest!
Did you consider the 32’ curved Alienware?
@@AFGixxeR88 I did, but I wanted the speakers, the 480Hz mode, and the anti-reflective properties of the LG. I enjoy plenty of ambient light and use the monitor for work and gaming.
@@poodapoorcevery talks about the Alienware but I think the lg is a nicer product. I don’t like the white back. I am considering the 27” lg also
Do any of these monitors (QD OLED, 240Hz, 4K) have built-in speakers?
Just got my alienware 32 oled man its so good
4k right ? What made you go with it
How is your burn-in testing going?
Any rumors on ultrawide qd-oleds? Perhaps successor to aw3423dwf? Waiting for 38 inch ultrawide with 1600p resolution.
That would be so sweet, but I'm not even going to care until the RTX 5090 comes out.
thanks for good content 👍
i got the aw2725df 10 days ago, im so happy, if anybody have questions, just ask me under !
Does LG have plans to release any new WOLED panels? perhaps a 1440p 360hz to match QD OLED? Would it be best to wait and see or just go for the MSI model now if you can find it for sale
How do you even buy any of the 360hz ones?, been camping for any of these for atleast 1 month already XD
Looking for a OLED 34 inch monitor that can do both games and movies. Big gamer here, but don't do any FPS at all. WIll the AW3423DWF fit the bill?
@monitors Unboxes you will test the Omen and Gigabyte too ?
I am using the Philips Evnia 49m2c8900 for almost 3 weeks now which uses the same panel and speed as the Samsung Odyssey OLED G95SC. Would love to see Monitor Unbox review this Model, so far it has surprising good sound quality and VESA CMR 13000. Downside for me so far the menu and gimmicky remote which is better then the button on backside. Keep these updates love them 🙌
With regards to changing aspect ratio/resolution, would you take the LG 32GS95UE over the aspect control on the PG32UCDM? If so, why?
Hi Guys. Is there any chance you guys can recommend an OLED monitor for both gaming and work? Or address this situation? I'm in IT and do both with my computer all the time. Currently, I have a Gigabyte M32U - with the extra feature of KVM. Which means I can plug in my MacBook Air very easily for work and switch to my gaming computer very easily. Thank you in advance.
Will MUB be reviewing the Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P?
Just bought LG 27GR95QE-B for the price of the AG276QZD .. was it a dumb buy?
I love this channel bro
Have some questions about ASUS ROG PG32UCDM Pixel Cleaning is how to use, when need to use? because i quite not understanding about this and does everytime pixel Cleaning reminder show in monitor need to use?
What about the lg 27gs95qe? It is an improved gr95qe with higher brightness and NO abl! I bought it for 800€ and it's absolutely great! So far no complaints (if you don't care about the matte coating)
For the same price the Dell Alienware AW2725DF has better warranty (3 vs 2 years, no send-in fee), can go up to 360 Hz (niche use case), and has a flat stand (personal preference). So, on paper there's not much difference.
@@shinyhappyrem8728 where I live the alienware is much much more expensive 1100€. For the price I paid, it was the best value for money Oled. But I agree that the alienware has more features and better performance overall.
What about the AORUS 4K OLED - FO32U2P ? It is basically the same monitor as Asus PG32UCDM.
What about the new pixio oled monitor as a budget option?
would you able to or are planning to do a video on the new LG 27GS95QE-B which is an improvement over the previous GR model. Been sitting on fence for quite some while but there are no credible enough videos which go in as much detail as your channel usually does.
same here, this monitor is high on my list, but unfortunatelly there're not so many reviews.
@Coodiie the major difference i see is GR model hai better HDR rating and brightness levels for new GS are better. Most of the reviews out there only focus on one aspect. This guy really goes in nitty gritty of things.
I might be looking for a new 4K monitor around 43" this spring, so I'm curious what's best these days around that size. 32" and smaller is just too small for the resolution, so not of interest at all. But it being OLED is not a necessity as this will be connected to two PCs where one is for gaming, the other just for desktop usage.
Have we had any update on release date of the Gigabyte QD OLED?
April 30th its sold out on pre orders
I've had a AW3423DW for a while but after our reviews I've ordered the AW3225QF to try 16:9 again. Been UW since 2017.
As a 32:9 user and ex, 21:9; i Will buy a 16:9 with 42" or more. It's less of a pain in the ass and basically every indie game supports that aspect ratio
@@Frigobar_Ranamelonico I was waiting on a 39"/45" UW OLED HDR worthy of buying but they fall short of the 32" 4K apart from shear impact.
@@bimble4715 yeah unfortunately I will probably end buying an LG TV like a C4 or whatever it will be worth it in the future
The Alienware also has eARC allowing me to get Atmos out of my 3090 and soundbar along with Dolby Vision so that seals the deal for me. I'm just waiting for it to hit Amazon.
The g9 has a lot of issues with DisplayPort on the NVIDIA cards as well. If your running a game in full screen on steam then exit the game all you get is a black screen you rather have to unplug the the cable or hit alt-win-B for the monitor to get signal again.
Not sure if its just me but links in the description dont work and the MSI ones go to the MAG version of the monitor not the MPG
Tried the Alienware AW2725DF and I got bad headaches after 20 minutes. Tried lots of fixes and nothing helped. Might have to try WOLED. I have an XPS 15 with an OLED, samsung OLED phone, and LG OLED TV and never had any problems.
i often just browse the web or watch yt on my monitor for hours, in my case would you recommend the neo g7 over 4k oleds? a lot of ppl say burn in doesnt happen that easily but would that apply for cases such as mine aswell? i was thinking of the c3 42" but i dont have that much space or possibilities for proper distance. the aw3225qf appeals the most to me, but its 1,2k€ and hard to find aswell the neo g7 32" ive heard comes close to oled+ no risk or worry about burn in and i can also get it 600€ from the amazon return stuff. reduced from 800€ just for having scratches on the back or missing a cable or its stand. been trying to decide for so long..
If you can get it for 600$ i say do it. It's a great monitor. If you can afford a QD-OLED, it's even better. 3 year burn in warranty on most models. They won't offer that unless they are pretty sure it will not happen to the majority of buyers, so i wouldn't worry about it. The newest QD-OLEDs have several protection features like auto-dimming of static features like windows task bar, that prevent burn in.
@@celsus7979 would you say the new qd oleds look significantly better than the neo g7s mini led? i obviously would prefer the aw3225qf and i could save up and buy it(if finally in stock somewhere) but im wondering if the diffrence is worth paying 600€ more
I would love to see some recommendations for display cables in order to properly run these frames at 4k. Given you have the rig to do it lol. 4k 240Hz is A LOT of bandwidth
any dp 1.4a cable lol
and when any 4080 can do - 4070ti can also quiet do it
Are there 2560x1440 32" oled monitors? My old VA 1440 died and i thought getting a bigger monitor could be a good idea. Just not ultra wide or curved.
Still waiting for a refresh of the 21:9 ultrawide category with a 240hz model, i feel like its due for an upgrade soon with how popular that alienware monitor is
Are there any 34" or so screen coming to market, that are not curved and not ultrawide? Don't care about gaming, but want some good screen for movies/tv shows, current 32" IPS panel is :( viewing angles etc
Been following the HW Unboxed for a couple years and this one since it was created. Always a pleasure to watch your videos Tim, keep it up. P.S. Buying the AOC AG276QZD in the near future. Hope the latency won't be much of an issue 🙏
wtf - oled 240hz 0.03 on pixel - what kind of issues you do expect - and what are the praying hands for?
Got the AW3225QF coming soon. Got it for $1350 CAD
Would you still suggest the none smart version of the G9 "G93SC"? Thinking of picking it up but I've heard you don't have access to Gsync but can I still utilise the AMD Freesync with an nvidia GPU?
Amd freesync is only for amd so no it won't for with a Nvidia gpu
@@Lylcaruis I did a bit of research after asking this question and it appears as though Nvidia GPU's can utilise AMD Freesync Premium Pro
@@DaddyRedBoneXii it might not run as well as Nvidia's version though
Thank you @Monitors Unboxed for all the videos and recommendations. I've received today the Asus model. Absolutely brilliant. Quality of materials, packaging, the looks. Great purchase :)
Which one has the best input lag at 120hz?
I just got a Samsung g9 49” for $1000. Only $200 more than the aw3423dwf. Loving it so far.
Do you recommend the neo g9 57 from Samsung?
How did you know I was scouring the internet for a new oled and wished for an all together comparison
I’m in need of a super ultra wide that isn’t smart, since the processor in the G9 slows it down into deal breaking territory, but I also need it to have a dual monitor mode so I can play games at 2560x1440p240Hz exclusive full screen mode
I got the PG34wdcm yesterday & the HDR doesn’t work for it. Turns the whites to have a blueish tint and everything else looks washed out. No idea if they have a fix for it.
What about the new Gigabyte Aorus FO27Q3?
just bought last year one of best OLED 2023 monitor, really love it, its not cheap but its not expensive like the new release OLEDs so im very happy with my purchase
As of today in Denmark the Asus32UCDM is 11800 DKK and the Alienware is 8700 DK. Crazy amount in difference. Really considering the Alienware.
I'm part of the AORUS FO32U2P waiting team! Lesssgo!!!
Damn... PG27AQDM got stocked for $100 over GR95QE and I pulled the trigger last month...
would you recommend someone to upgrade from samsung g8 oled to 4k alienware monitor as i dont like the ultrawide aspect but its not like i hate it.
is there any 24"/27" full hd 300++ hz oled monitors?
hi when test BenQ ZOWIE XL2546X vs x46k ???
I’ve had 6 of the top 10 here…and my favorite two aren’t here. C4 42 and LG45GS96QB.
Has the OLED G9 been fixed for AMD graphics cards yet? I want it for my RX 7900 XTX
Can we please get a comparison between the Samsung Odyssey G6 QHD 240Hz 27in & the g7 QHD 240Hz 27in

Why is no one reviewing the refreshed LG27GS95QE-B? Its 275nits appears to be best in its category atm
There are some ON KZhead, but I Guess since its only an Update to the gr Version, Most people skip IT, sadly. Cause the gs Looks great what i have Seen so far.
Thoughts on lg 27gs95qe-b?
Not sure weather to pick the Alienware DWF or the Samsung G8 ultra wide. They essentially cost the same here.
