Came back to this song because it had always reminded me of my husband who passed away from leukemia last december 2019. I was 29 and he was 31 when we married on January 2 2019 right after new year, we knew each other since college and had many things in common such as liking kpop, which bought us to this wonderful song that we always listen to together and became our favorite song, and unfortunately he was diagnosed with leukemia months after our marriage, he was losing hope already, he was doing his best to survive for me. But his sickness got the best of him, we sung this song while i was holding his pale hands until his last breath... now i can’t listen to this wonderful song without having tears in my eyes.

He actually is my "boyfriend" but it feels like he doesn't even care (maybe i am overthinking it) but it's the other thing that worries me in a way that is i feel controlled. And love reflects your true self, you feel the most comfortable when you're with him. If you feel like you are being controlled, I don't think this is a good relationship. We have been in a quarantined time - which is hard, and there are a lot of factors, ikr....but I think communication is the key to solve any problem. Talk to him if you feel unloved, tell him how you feel when he controls you like this...There is something that if you don't tell, no one gonna knows. I keep coming back to this a lot. My mom and dad shared the same sweet relationship, and now that he is gone, I can't imagine the kind of pain she is in. He passed away from cancer last year and his dying words were "I'm not going anywhere" to my mom. I can't imagine what she goes through and that makes me feel pathetic sometimes. I hope everyone going through deep sadness finds happiness soon!!

the melody of this song played in my mind out of nowhere, then i realised that id forgotten its name. ive been trying to find this song for about two? three months? today i remembered the lyrics in the bridge and did a google search ... im listening to it right now and my heart sinks just like it did the first time i listened to it. i hope i can come back after a year or two again and feel how genuine the love is in its lyrics. music like this makes me realise how much there is to live for in this world, that people can really bring so much to your life and change you in the best ways. it makes me so hopeful, as someone that struggles with depression and finds it hard to rely on others. definitely one of my favorite songs of all time
