  • *WELP!! as Aug 1st 1 am, KZhead has now demonetized this video too. SMHHHH* Please be sure sure to scroll up and Like this video, as youtube is restricting our videos for covering china's protests. Last video are restricted and demonetized once its started getting views because KZhead deemed in "inappropriate". That's the reason why I have to censor alot of parts of this video. I hope you guys understand my side. Days of work go into these videos, so getting restricted & demonetized is really frustrating. Please drop a like and share this video with other people that way youtube won't restrict it (hopefully, idk how this YT system works lol)

  • I was a journalist in China in 2000s. Here are some facts I know by that time: In 2007, land sales consisted more than 70% of China's provincial and local governments' annual revenue. And that was an average number. In some local areas it reached astonishing 95%. And that's not the worst part yet. The worst part is the provincial and local governments spent all those money in the following year. When we talk about land sales in China, it's actually land lease. The CCP claims the ownership of all lands in China. And in a land sale they just permit the real estate developer to use the land for 70 years. Logically, the government should not use all the income of a land sale until they can sell it again 70 years later. But in fact they spent all 70 years' money in 1 year. That's why the CCP keeps the urbanization movement, which keeps giving provincial and local governments more land to sell. And that's why China's provincial and local governments are facing a HUGE financial trouble right now as the real estate falls: They are losing at least 70% of their annual revenue!

  • The other thing that caused this crisis is that Chinese citizens are limited in what stock options they have available. Basically, the CCP bars its citizens from purchasing stocks outside of China, and since the CCP has a hard-on for taking down any Chinese business that is being too successful, the Chinese stock market is very unreliable. The only real retirement option available to Chinese citizens is real-estate. Which is why the real-estate Ponzi scheme went on for so long.

    @OmegaZyion@OmegaZyion Жыл бұрын
    • Naw, even the stock markets in China are illusions. In a real stock market stock shares are pieces of actual ownership, and when you buy stock and become an owner in the company, you gain shareholder rights and have a say in how that company is run. But, in China there is no private ownership, foreign investors are blocked from owning any Chinese entity and even Chinese citizens never own anything, the CCP is the ultimate owner of everything. As demonstrated with the Ali and Ant Group companies founded by Jack Ma, even those large and successful companies are not immune from CCP power and by the end of 2022 should have been taken over entirely by CCP officers who do not work with or for Jack Ma. And, not even Chinese can own real estate. There is only a 70 year use rights for residential use that is granted by the local government without any statement what would happen after the use rights expire. The CCP is too young to know what the consequences of its actions are and is making things up as time goes on, perfectly willing to break laws, agreements and norms as it fixes what it breaks. Rule of Law does not exist in China which is essential to a working liberal democracy like the West. And if Rule of Law does not exist, private ownership really does not exist even in the tiniest form, any private rights to own anything from bank accounts to land to businesses and everything else is an illusion.

  • As a CPA/CBA , I spent nearly 35 years in supervision & regulation in America. China’s “banking system” (if you want to call it that) is radically different from the rest of the industrial world. Despite the CCP’s control mechanisms, “banking” is largely unregulated in China. Borrowing and lending is ubiquitous, multi-tiered, and much exists in the “shadows” with little-to-no adequate record keeping. Risk management, firewalls, are concepts either not understood or ignored, likely the later. The drive for economic growth and stampede to instant riches became the national ethos. Their “system” is now in a state of collapse.

    @DanSme1@DanSme17 ай бұрын
  • The crisis is being driven by a number of factors, including: A slowing economy: China's economy is growing at its slowest pace in decades, and this is having a negative impact on the property market. Oversupply: There is an oversupply of housing in many parts of China, which is making it difficult for developers to sell their homes. Rising interest rates: The Chinese government has raised interest rates in an effort to cool inflation, and this is making it more expensive for people to borrow money to buy homes. Government crackdown: The Chinese government has cracked down on the property market in an effort to reduce risks to the financial system. This has made it more difficult for developers to get financing. The crisis is having a ripple effect through the Chinese economy. Banks are facing losses from the defaults, and there is concern that the crisis could lead to a wider financial crisis.

Presumably this represents a demarcation between systems based on trust or lack of it. This lack of trust in the Chinese system inevitably leads to unrest. So, we have pointless lockdowns, suspension of depositor withdrawals, censorship and tanks in the streets. Distraction away from the core problem is a typical response, such as whether Pelosi visits Taiwan. Unfortunately, war is historically another.

But originally nobody in the US cared but when China started freaking out and issuing threats. Immediately majority of Americans supported the visit, even Republicans who hate Pelosi. Then add Russia saying we shouldn't to the fire. China has it work cut out for it with the recession, housing collapse, demographic collapse, young generation uprising, and Taiwan(Western Democratic China that is more developed with a higher gdp capita right next to Communist China, basically showing that life is better in a Democracy).

  • These situations are like a running train. Everyone knows they will run out of track at some point and the train will crash, but every second the train runs, it generates money so nobody is trying to really fix the problem because the money is flowing and fixing it may cause a disruption in the flow. People on the train know there is a problem, but they figure they can jump off just before it crashes. A few people are on board to run the train warn the train will crash, but they are told to either continue running the train or somebody else will be happy to run the train in their place. Of course some people believe the train will never crash and it will run forever. And then the train crashes, nobody saw it coming and they all try to jump when it's already too late. The worst is when people think that the train crashing wasn't a problem : "We just have longer track next time, because there is no other way to run the train, it has to go that way, doing it differently means less money ..." Doing the same stupid thing over and over with mostly cosmetic changes in the hope that this time it will be entirely different ...

I know it can't make up for demonetization, but I must extend my ultimate gratitude and thank you for this video from the depths of my heart. Thank you so much for shining a light on this.

    • Government can drum up fake debts and force them to pay while they are alive. The US did this to me... "The 1996 (DCIA) permits Federal agencies to garnish the pay of individuals who owe such debt without first obtaining a court order." - letter to my employer It didn't matter I had proof of bank records not paid anything from them. I never got a chance to get my day in court. They immediately began garnishing my wages by 50% (before tax). Here's the kicker, no matter how much they stole, the amount they said I owed kept going up (not down). I was forced into a 7 year battle with 3 congressional representatives to put a stop to it. Bankruptcy didn't work(it just added a 10yr ding on my record). I was forced to quit my job and move back in with parents because I couldn't pay rent. I was forced to not work for over 3 years. It completely killed my career. I had to go back to school all over again. All together they took 14 years of my life. And every lawyer I spoke to says I can't sue them because they have sovereign immunity. Ever since I've seen government do criminal activities and not have to answer for itself, I've always been against government.

Canadians cant hardly afford to buy homes in their own country because Chinese billionaires bought all the houses in cities like Toronto and Vancouver. Houses that used to be $100k now cost over $2M within a decade or two simply because China owns all the houses and controls the market. This housing bubble is only recently starting to fail.

  • When I lived in California, it was quite common to see Chinese nationals overpaying for houses and condos as a way of "stashing" their money overseas. They don't rent the properties, because that would generate an income from a foreign source and alert the CCP that they've moved the cash abroad. Think of these Chinese-owned properties in California and in Canada's major cities as a combination piggy bank/life raft. My landlady in Oakland, a Chinese national who became a naturalized US citizen, knew of thousands of Chinese hiding in the Bay Area who had overstayed their tourist visas. They were silent all-cash partners in restaurants. The Chinese people are afraid of their own government, which punishes them for having money and doing well in business. There's nothing comparable in the USA, despite many rich people's tales of woe and oppression by being forced to pay 27% of their income to taxes--they don't reasonably fear having everything confiscated by the government, but it's that justifiable fear that drives the Chinese to act this way. And fear, as we've learned throughout history, is the very worst motivator for human behavior.
