  • Regarding the Patrick vs Garrett hand. Curtis gave info to both of them when he reacted strongly towards folding on the turn bet and seeing the river card. It might have resulted differently if Curtis had any awareness of poker etiquette.

  • I like watching Garrett because he plays with no ego. I think ego is one of the biggest downfalls in pro poker players. Phil Helmuth is the perfect example of that. It puts you on till when you raise yourself above everyone else and lose… Staying humble keeps you in the game mentally much longer.

  • My goodness, what a life. Marriage, children, above average genetics and gets to play a literal game and one he enjoys for not just a living but a luxurious and lucrative one that ensures his family will never want for anything. He's very good at the game surely, but also he has been very lucky in what the dealer gives him and the decisions his opponents make against him, as well as the ability to game select and play with those well inferior. Regardless this is a respectful lot of words and cannot be angry at another man doing well.
