I seen plenty of people playing it on the street and ice, I guess it just depends what neighborhood you’re in. The rangers have a huge following in this city

Coming from a bulls fan who’s dating a Knicks fan, I can assure you 100% that the Knicks winning the NBA playoffs would be a much bigger deal than if they won in any other sport. NYC really gets behind their teams and my gf and her family absolutely live and die by the Knicks. Them ending the drought this year would be insane for the city

@@thefishhobbyist5478 Yes the knicks only been to the playoffs 3 straight years, before that it was 13 years prior. Rangers has had the better farm system and growing young players for over a decade as opposed to the knicks overpaying for aging stars.

I'm not a fan of either of these two guys but this was hilarious! They're trying to create problems where there are none. Fans love both teams, after all they play in the same building. NYC is a basketball city. If the Knicks win a championship it would be the biggest and most celebrated championship ever. There’s more Knicks fan over the world than almost any team (last chip was 1973). Knicks are the reason they call Madison square garden the world’s most famous arena.
Doubt they have more world wide fans than the Lakers.
NYC is just a sports town period. Hockey is also wildly popular The NYPD and FDNY yearly game is a massive deal.

The Rangers are in a better position to win a Cup, than the Knicks are to win an NBA Championship. PK played for the New Jersey Devils, so that's why he'd be seen around them, more than the Rangers.
ESPN has been a disappointment to hockey. Everything has to be basketball and football decisions and the moment playoff hockey starts they give only a few minutes talking about hockey with PK . Hockey needs to be talked about more on ESPN especially when they signed a massive contract with the NHL 3 years ago.
Unlike the NBA, the NHL is wide open. The NBA Finals are guaranteed to be the Celtics vs. the Nuggets or Clippers whereas the Stanley Cup Finals could have anything from Edmonton vs. Toronto to Nashville vs. Carolina.
I 100% agree! That’s one thing I absolutely enjoy about the Stanley Cup Playoffs is that any team can win. It’s not predictable like the NBA is right now or in the past 10 years cause of the players joining forces and being friends which completely destroys rivalries.
I see the NBA becoming less and less predictable in this year and the next years? I don't guarantee that Denver win the West and Boston is only big favourite because of injuries on the Knicks, Phila, Heat, Bucks.

Huh? The unpredictability of the NHL playoffs, more than any other sport, relies heavily on the game's luck element not parity... Whereas in bball, talent decides the winner which you want as a fan of competition. And this year more than anytime, the NBA playoffs is filled with multiple serious contenders. Can't discount LeBron and the Lakers, Jokic and his Nuggets, Ant and the Wolves, Celtics obviously, yes the Knicks have a shot and the Sixers with a relatively healthy Embiid
