La Cruz in my opinion is the greatest amateur ever. He’ll be a legend in my eyes forever.

100%. Winning Olympic Gold at 81 and at 91. Fighting young men in a fast paced 3 round format in his mid 30's and fighting them at a heavier weight class in the pocket, with his hands down. He is truly in a league of his own. In my opinion he is better than , Teofilio Stevenson, Felix Savon, Rigondeaux and Lomachenko. Lazlo Pap won 3 Olympics and he also moved up in weight but Lazlo Pap didn't have the skills that La Cruz has. He is truly a wizard and master of his craft.

Excellent performance from la cruz. He's a master at all ranges. The judges were not going to favour him keeping it long and scoring with sniping shots as they gave the round to Talley which was wrong in the fir round imo. Talley is a very dangerous fighter anyone who knows thier current amateur boxing knows this and la cruz showed he can adapt when he needs to fought close range and punished Talley with such an incredible and accurate body work display . He's a master . Interestingly enough I feel he's more dangerous and punishing when he fights close and mid range with his high guard He's landing shots to hurt not to score . But he's simply immense with his iq and reflexes still . Brilliant performance

Talley did really well the 1st round. Feel like the 2nd round Cuban was fighting a little dirty holding his head down etc. Overall great match tough to face him the first round.

Cruz is a great counter puncher.. when Talley was up round one, i would have instructed him to not go forward... this would stop Cruz ability to counter. Cruz would then have to be the aggressor since he was behind on the score... then Talley would ease of the power and counter with fast straight punches...starting with the body to negate Cruz amazing head movement. Talley downfall this fight was too many head shots, his power, and not enough straight punches... when he boxes for points he does great...stop chasing the stoppage

Ref was a zombie and a time waster. Mad mug, drop your left arm, do lots of ali duck back, dance and keep up the theatrics, then hang all over your opponent to waste time when your opponent may actually counter and have your number. This is how you win your division in the panam games! Fight was a draw at best.

@@taylorohiggins1734my coach always yells at me if I hold too much. Last I checked if you hold too much you get a warning then points taken away. I mean if it works go for it yet clearly he’s taken advantage of that.
