Agree most people just skip the clipboards that has the story.
I do think one thing is hold the game back and that the beta sdk but I actually hope to see one thing in the future and that new npcs and i mean new ones not reskins of existing ones and it would be make the game way better if the absolutely wonderful avatar system could be used on npcs to I'm just saying it would be cool to fight the heavy or tall avatar with melee only as a boss but one can only hope(note the "something sinister" mod from baba corp is a good start on custom npcs and labworks is a huge break though on map making and is the only map i know off to have Smooth transitioning like it has working portals from boneworks)

I feel as though a lot of people don't talk about mods in their reviews, even though the story, hype and the intention of bonelabs existence, all lead to mod support and the community...

I love how on the little avatar mall, theres some graffiti that says "arthur ford was here". and in the void cab you can see that he left his ID behind on the window. Arthur joined lavagang.

I loved playing Boneworks even though it chugged along at a hardly stable framerate on a computer that could barely run it, good to know I have more things I can use to make my PC cry.
Bonelab has way better graphic options than Boneworks did on PC, so it should adjust nicely to run better for ya 👍 partly the reason why the Quest version runs so well.
the quest version has the same physics as pcvr bonelab or boneworks because the cpu is actually pretty strong and can withstand marrows engine even though it has some jank

One of the best reviews / analysis for Bonelab. I'm very biased but it felt like you got at everything that needed to be mentioned. 10/10 review. 9/10 game.
Right now the mods that are available don't really shake up the gameplay much for me. I'm waiting for when some actual maps are available which will probably be a while...
Amazing video! covers pretty much every key point in the game. personally ive been making avatar mods for the game and honestly its super fun to be able to work on stuff and see it in a game like this. Love the comedy by the way and keep up the amazing work!

When I played the quest port I expected it to crash every 5 min like every other game but it was very nice and I only crashed once or twice. A bit leggy at times but still very good

arena mode is literally the cod zombies of bonelab
Yes!! I've spent so many hours in the Arena, just like zombies back in the day
When your climbing, you need to crouch and you can lift yourself over things very easily
I admittedly discovered that way too late in Boneworks lol BoneLab made vaulting easier without the need to crouch, but it definitely helps.
There’s already a mod for Garrys mod called VR mod it’s very easy to install
you have similar quality to youtubers with millions of subscribers, you'll get there :)

Bonelab is pretty fun still doing the story, it’s so optimized too gtx 1650 90hz vr lmao idk if i should just use the quest 2 port of pcvr though but good overall, was overhyped but this shows that the quest 2 can run some advanced games.

Yeah for some reason they are pretty long on PC, even using the game on an SSD. The Quest version loads way faster.

Totally understandable. The game is not a must for the story, the gameplay and sandbox is more where this one takes the cake. I'm hoping Ford returns in the next one. You can spawn him with the Spawn Gun tho.

I would recommend reinstalling just in case. Game gets way better once you get access to that 👍

Well compare gmod vr to bonelab and see. Gmod for pc is for pc, so you can't compare that.

GTA San Andreas map on PC, Quest version is really low quality, best on PC. It's the entire map btw, a lot to play around in. Definitely recommend carrying a Nimbus Gun.

Alot of people have talked about how they feel Bonelab is nothing like GMod because people don't have access to any real art/sound assets like you do with the source engine's hl2/cs:source assets which is gimping the modding community. My personal hot take on that is it's honestly better this way. Bonelab may not give you artistic assets but the default platform gives you INSANE mechanics in terms of avatar interaction, gameplay and physics. So when it comes to creating content instead of you being limited to your programming knowledge you're limited to your artistic creativity. I can tell you right now as soon as the SDK officially gives NPC support you're going to see the community whipping up all kinds of "Half Life 1 style" (ie: liner story telling) custom levels.
I cannot wait for this as well! I'm excited to see this game flourish when the SDK gets the updates in needs.

Really didn't think it was as bad as people thought. I liked the challenge.
@@BladeOpotato for me personally it wasn't as much as a challenge it was just a personal hell, the goal wasn't very clear and the constant avatar changes made it easy to get stuck or fall all the way to the bottom, a huge step in difficulty from the other avatar levels that the player was introduced to. Anyway other than that I would like to just say cool video and keep up the good work :)
Yeah the problem of not being able to use the avatar which was designed for the level and is meant to be showcased there waaxa pretty dumb idea. But maybe some nodded game mode with switching could be something.
