Quick mouse comparison for the different versions of the Zowie S2 and S1, the Black and Divina Blue or Pink.
There are only a few differences and I think it comes down to coating and what kind of climate you're in (dry VS humid).
I made this video a few weeks ago, maybe a month, I was going to wait until the S was more available but seems to be taking forever and I gotta move forward with other videos.
Regarding the point about weight... size and shape matter more, but if you can get size, shape and weight... then I would say that's better. Still, it's personal preference and I'll always have a soft spot for these mice. Love Zowie shapes!

Just A Gaming Experience I would say so, yes. I have the model O , s1, rival 600 and death adder. That slide on the s1 is perfect imo. Should be the same on the s2.
@@dcv1337 Ive got a huge issue with weight and consistency though. Seems like extremely lightweight mice are not for me as I was used to play with oldschool mice such as mx518. I did use the GPW for 6 months and my whiffing all those months hit the roof! So I changed to g502 lightspeed that's close to last I used g402, size/shape wise and weight. I am really thinking to buy S1 too!

I bought the S2 divina a few months ago after watching your reviews for it. It's a fantastic mouse and I love the glossy finish. Before buying, I was worried that the mouse will be too small and that I should be going for the S1 divina instead. However, the S2's size turned out to be a great fit for my hands compared to my DeathAdder which I always thought was a tad bit too large. My 2014 DeathAdder Chroma developed the infamous double clicking problem and has been collecting dust ever since.

I live in Miami where it is constantly humid and I prefer the glossy finish on the S2 over any finish I have EVER put my hand on.
I felt that “I still use the s2 cuz of the aim”. I tried the model o and I ended up going back to my s1. I can’t aim anywhere as good as I did with my s1! My aim was extremely deadly with the s1.

I bought the glossy blue S1 when it came out, but switched to the Model-O after its release. Even if I had a matte coated S1, I would still use my Model-O.
my story in an age of lightweight mice: my hands are not very big and i was using a deathadder elite for fast pace fps games. I bought the g305 when it was released and used them both for a long time. And the smaller g305 gave me more sense of control and faster movements with hand apparently and was definitly lighter than the Deathadder elite. But I came to a conclusion when i started using Aim Lab to practice my aim: being too light and small doesnt increase my aim. It only helped to move the mouse around faster, but it decreased my precision. With Deathadder Elite, I was more precise and stoped on point to hit those small targets and faster, because although the g305 is smaller and lighter i had to do extra movements of adjusting the aim, and with Deathadder i didnt have to. I had in fact more control with the bigger mouse, more precision. So, the weight of a mouse can be a little overrated feature. I made my decision and I keep using the Deathadder Elite. And the clicks: the best I used in any mouse. This S2 is a real temptation too. Model O likewise. man, it´s hard to decide. My point is: less weight feature is overrated. Lighter doesnt mean better for gaming or to improve aim. Shape and sensor are kings and when they are great together, the mouse is really awesome.

Couldn't agree more. Weight is important, but shape and general feel trumps all when weight and sensor are in the acceptable range. These black models will sell like crazy, people have been asking for them for ages!

With your Zowie mice, do you leave the lift of distance on the default setting (medium) or do you always adjust it to low, can you confirm if this is adjustable on the S1/2 as it is on the EC1/2-B?

Hey rjn, i know the current situation for mice is very exciting with many new models on the horizon, but i wanted to ask if you will be doing a review on the "Endgame Gear XM1". It just went into international shipping, and it has a very interesting new way of picking up input through the mousebuttons, as the information is not being read digitally, but in an analog way, which supposedly makes it quicker. It's also fairly small with a nice shape IMO. So even tho I already bought it, I woudl still love to see your thoughts and your review of this mouse.

The Smaller Glorious Model O - will arrive around a month. I would be so happy when you would review it at that time. I´m currently using a G Pro Wireless and then bought the normal Model O but I couldn´t replace my G Pro just like that since both are unique where the G Pro shines with its light weight as wireless and has the top sensor. After a friend of mine wanted to test it I sold the mouse too him since it was out of stock (caseking.de). But I think I´m gonna try this one ASAP and probably keep it as a secondary. I´m totally fine with 50€.

How are the clicks on the Ultralight 2 compared to Omron switches? Clicks are by far the most important for me. It'd be really nice to know, as there probably won't be much time to buy the mouse once it's out.

i recently got my pink s2, the mouse was amazing but since i live in a quite humid place the glossy surface made it really slippery, so i rubbed it with a classic kitchen sponge and it became close to matte, if you are having some troubles with sweat i suggest you to try this (sorry if i made some grammatical errors)

You should work with a company to design your own perfect mouse, I’d love to see what you would come up with if you collaborated with a company like Zowie, Logitech or Razer

I feel like some of the comparison things were just how much did you use the mouse for. Like with button tension and feeling of the mouse.
I have multiple copies of the Blue and with that small amount of use ... the button tension didn't change that I could notice. So I'd say no.

That was never a thing. I've said so many times originality isn't part of the ranking thing. I'm not putting it up for other reasons. I won't be putting up the new Finalmouse or Razer mouse either. Waiting for new site to be built. I'll just keep adding notes above the Top 40 to mention the new mice, like I did with the Model O.

Hey, Zy, don't sorry about the people on r/mousereview. It's not right that they take their anger out in a way that hurts others. I left that community a few months ago because of how people were treating each other over computer mice. And I encourage others to do the same or at least take a break for them to mellow out especially around the time of a FM drop. Stay as a positive youtuber, Zy. In an era where clickbait ragetubers are getting millions of views it's nice to have you give us a real take on who each mouse will suit without any clickbait or anger. Keep up the good work. But as for me though, I'm still not completely okay with Finalmouse's tactics. They use limited runs to artificially increase scarcity which causes FOMO which increases demand and therefore prices. If they did a sustained launch like every other mouse company they would have to lower their prices to net the same amount that they currently do and it would be over a longer period of time. A shame that they prioritized short-term sales like that because there are a lot of people that would like to have the mouse but might not ever get it. Also suspicious that after Tfue said he's working with FM he started bashing the Model O and Glorious on his streams even though he's never used one and he as a Glorious mouse pad. I also wish they released more details about the mouse before launch so that I could make a more informed decision based on its dimensions and stuff especially since I've never held the UL shape; but because they're doing a limited release that's going to sell out instantly I just have to buy it quickly and hope for the best. Might not even have time to watch your review; last time I tried to buy something limited online it sold out before I could even click Buy. Oh well at least they have a return policy. I really just want to play Quake Champions and other games though. I'm not interested in being around toxicity over a mouse company. And although I might be a little on the Fence about FM, you've done lots of great things for the industry, Zy. It would like very different without you so thanks for influencing mouse designs to be better and thanks for staying positive. Looking forward to all your future mouse reviews!

I HOLD THIS MOUSE IN MY HANDS FOR 3 DAYS now. i have realy small hands, so it could be a little bit smaller for me. but its the best mouse i hold in my hand about 10 years. i love the grip, the wight, the shape is much better for me personaly as that of the zowiefk2. i have this mouse too. i want to test the modell o, but its still unavailable. but i dont need anymore. my aim is lot better now. Im lefty. so i cant play with ergonomic right hand mouse.
