    • There are session musicians.. the brass, winds and strings, possibly other instrumentation, and the arrangement for those instruments are all done by others. However you’re right for the most part. The unsung hero and third leg of the silk sonic tripod is producer DMile, the production is stellar in every one of these songs. Plus he is the bassist on most of the songs. Silk sonic is exactly what the industry needs right now.

They respect their craft and their audience! This is entertainment! Bruno gives sly Sammy Davis, Jr. vibes. And if ya been to Chuck E.'s you know

They are talented and funny. And yes give it up to the band and background singers! Can't wait to hear your reaction to the album.

  • Bruno and Anderson are so smart because adding in the comedy thing actually makes you stop… back up… listen again… probably listen again.. look up the lyrics… laugh your behind off… all the while completely enjoying the music. Everyone is going to listen to the whole song and then text someone else to ask if they’ve heard it yet. The music is totally undeniable, the lyrics are fun and funny, and you are going to totally enjoy the experience and are NOT going to forget this song. Genius!!!

  • Of course, how many guys lived through this type of story line back in the 1970s & 80s, &, thinking the same thing? Having growing up in the 70s, this album takes me back. The name Silk Sonic sounds like a 70s style group name, like Blue Magic (Spell, Sideshow, Haunted By Your Love).
