Man you are by far me favourite KZheadr one of my family members died yesterday and I’ve been non stop crying and you really cheered me up a little so thank you ❤❤❤
I'm so sorry to hear that, losing a family member is always tough. Let me just say time heels all, and our departed loved ones want nothing else but for us to be happy :) that always cheered me up after my dad passed away 18 months ago 🙏🏻👊🏻
Condolences man, sorry to hear it.
Sorry for your loss’s
@@lojofishing thank I really appreciate you lojo
@@Steve-ev6vx yeh thanks
Lojo!! Thanks for the shout out for Laura and my place!! We will be back and full!!! In my last vid caught a 4, 6 and 8 pounder so the Trophy Bass are still here As a matter of a FACT! I’ve always landed a 8 pounder each and every time I’ve gone fishing. You are a great man and friend. God bless you and your family. All I can say is Thank you from Laura and I We love you
Mike thank you for always welcoming us to L and M!! I'll keep praying for rain 🙏
Are you guys in Texas? I’m in Oklahoma and we have been getting A LOT of rain over the past few weeks. Hoping it helped you guys out.
@@matthewbridges1438 Yes Texas I have a video on our lake update coming out tonight at 7 pm Hope you watch and subscribe!!
Here in Cali we had a long drought too. About 3ish years ago we've been getting our wet/ snow seasons back. So yes it will snap back, just gotta wait it out. I pray soon it'll come for ya'll.
Maaaan that was hard to watch! Praying for Mike and the lake, he’s poured so much into that place! Want nothing but to see it continue to thrive!
The lakes around me in California were like this during the drought. Lucky two winters rained record inches it has recovered.
I was down in San Diego during the drought and man you are so right. I remember Lake Hodges being so dry and when I saw it after the winter rains recently it made me smile to see it so full of water. I hope that this lake that he is at gets the all the rain it deserves.
@@MastinoNapoletano420 right, it’s so good too see. Snow pack is looking really good this year to in the sierras. I bought a kayak last year so I’m looking forward to getting out there.
I was looking for the Cali reply, it was right on top haha. Yeah we just seen this, have faith. Rain will come. Keep those fish alive as long as you can.
@@MastinoNapoletano420 Up north in the Cen Valley and Shasta was the WORST in cali. So cal lakes only survives because of Nor Cal's water. Just amazing to see how we JUST had enough because of our lakes and res.
and thank god for the cali aqueduct.
Wow that is crazy. I hope they get a lot of rain soon. Yall stay safe and Keep’em coming.
I’m sorry if I had a trophy lake like that I would dig a well and pump water to the fish
If there's no water under your property then there's no wells, pretty sure they have thought about it too😢
@@Mjones8383 maybe
It sucks, but its also just part of fishing. I cant count how many times one of my favorite bodies of water was drained for whatever reason. Over here in Florida its usually to get rid of vegetation.
@@Mjones8383 this is a good idea but a well pump can only pump so much drill ? u will find water. it dnt matter how dry it is . a good well dnt go dry . 300 feet deep u will find water
Poor Mike got his lake on a drought, and my man lojo kept rubbing it in😂 to top it off got the mans 4wheelers stuck and had to be rescued by said man. I’m sending the guy good vibes and hope some of this Washington rain heads down there.
L&M is an awesome place. Thank you Lojo for signing that reel while you were down... thanks for the awesome videos
it was my pleasure!!
I grew up in a small town in North Central Texas about 389 miles from this lake your on, and way back in the mid 70's we went through a 7-9 year drought it was so bad we played a water pipeline from our lake processing station all the way to Lake Kickapoo in Wichita Falls, TX. So when our lake dried up some rich folks from the oil fields came in and dug out the lake silt and when they got down to around 13' mark they where digging up 40-60 pound catfish some even bigger that followed the water table down. Then around 1978 we got massive storm cell that dumped enough water to refill out lake. The owners of this small bass lake should take the opportunity to deepen this lake to slow the water level from evaporaterion the next time it fills up.
Sup LoJo. Crazy to see how low The lake has gone But awesome to see Mike making the best of it. Glad to see your 12 lb trophy on the wall in the house. Shout out #LandMlake and god bless👍👍🤘🏽🤘🏽
hey lojo i love your videos keep up the workk!!🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤
It’s a shame the lake has dried so much! You did a great job showing what it was and what it is now! I know you’ll keep us updated!
I've been watching his channel also and I'm praying they get the rain they need u Guys filmed some really good vids there and I hope we get to see some more.
It’s amazing that you get videos out so fast
we love this life!!
Man Lojo, that’s heartbreaking dude. Sending prayers for a healthy recovery now!! 🎣 💪
Lojo please respond you are literally the KZheadr that got me into fishing u are like the best fishing KZhead's and u helped me catch my pb
heck yeah I'm glad you broke your pb buddy!! thank you for being one of the best subscribers on youtube
@@lojofishing ROLL TIDE
Had similar reaction when Stockton lake dropped. It's still there but parts im familiar with are walkable and drivable.
Ooft mate, thats rough. Hopefully the rains will appear soon and replenish that amazing lake
That's wild. All lakes and tanks are setting good in East Tx
Man that's so crazy. We are getting a ton of rain right now. I hope and pray some of it makes its way there
Catch, move & release! You need the whole googan squad there!
I hope that lake bounces back. I hate to see that lake in that shape. I remember when LOJO caught that 12 pounder. Our prayers are with the owners and everyone in the comments.
It’s hard to watch such an amazing lake dry up like that! Every time I hear it’s raining in Texas, I’m hoping it’s raining at Mike and Laura’s!
Thanks buddy!!
that breaks my heart i hope it bounces back good luck
It's been hard fur a lot of states I am in Illinois and have seen 3 almost dry up completely last year . Hopefully this year things get better
That was sad
I’m sorry to hear about your dad loosing family always a tough hit to take much love from Virginia you should come to my neck of the woods to fish I think you would enjoy the bass fishing here we have all kinds of species to catch
Wow that really sucks
Love the vids man from Washington state! You should travel out here and help me figure out how to catch these pre-spawn bass lol
That's crazy I actually rember you fishing that lake last year and the other videos you made with the owners son I hope the state of that lake turns around asap
Ohh no this is devastating.. Hope it bounces back!! Love your content brother
Dang man I see all your videos and going from seeing yall fish this place to it looking like that I really pray for rain there in Texas
Man, feels like yesterday I was watching you and Norm crushing it on that lake.
Man u have slimmed down brother I guess it's been 2yrs sens I have watched. Looking sharp brother
Wow, the pond is so sad so many good memories and videos. You filmed there they need at least 6000 gallons. Probably even more the pond needs to come back and it definitely needs to get loaded with some fish
In mudding like that you sent it in that bottom less mud you have to float on top on the mud to and keep your tires from turning
Lojo is Carrying Googan squad like shoulder pads at this point 🔥🔥🔥😅
I lost interest because Lunkers is quite a douche.
How sad to see! Doing the rain dance for L&M! I hope they get that place back to health.
I hear of a high level hurricane season I hope of acouple good ones to go ur way
Love the video looked dfrt fun and organic
Any way to add a well? Not sure if they have any water in that area, but that could help.
We need an update now that good old Texas has been seen a lot of storms. Including today.
My area was similar to this lake and River dry we got hit by hurricane and everything flooded and like a year later cattle had no where to go pasture floods now it's back to normal probably a little more than normal but the pasture are so green and lush might be global warming or something but it's going to take more than 6 inch of rain and what you think cause it increases population
He needs to get a fountain to add oxygen to the low puddles
what would you recommend as a beginner bait caster?
Truly hate that for them it’s absolutely heartbreaking but we’re getting into the rainy season and hopefully they end getting a bunch of rain this spring
The thing is I’m watching this video while a rainstorm is going on outside in South Africa. I wish I could send you some rain right now
Should go out with a medal director and see what you can find!
👍
Good time to map the lake in detail and mark structure with gps
Love your videos
At 5:15 the other fish you didn't know the name of that's a mudminnow they're found in both salt water and freshwater and are very good bait near me they are found in salt water more than fresh
When u get in that situation with the quad u wanna really shift ur weight a lot on the four wheeler left and right or not even put all ur weight on it, step off the side and give it gas especially when ur a big guy like lojo ain’t much movin that thing when it’s stuck😂😂
Just waiting for the semester to end so I can go home and fish 😩
We are having the same issue here in iowa in some places. It's def a big problem for us anglers who want to go out and catch the fat sallies. Its sade to see my pb just dying off in that lake. Very sad
We did get some rain recently so hopefully it helps 👍🏻
Hope the lake recovers soon!
Big rain storm coming early in the am
They could try getting a well made and try using it to fill and possibly save whatever is left in it
That sucks
Dang that's sad to see but that's a pond, not a lake. I couldn't imagine waking up looking out and seeing Guntersville Lake looking like that.😢
So heart breaking to see that.May the Great Almighty send them some much needed rain 🙏🏼!! Thanks for this episode Brother LOJO, cheers 💪🏼👊🏼😎
Man that sucks
We've got 3 days of rain coming through right now here in Tx
Fingers crossed 🤞
So sad, praying for it to get rain❤
Good video and thank you much. 😮
Could make it into one cool atv track on the bright side 😉
I have a lake I used to fish at in swinney switch tx and it’s dry
Dealing with the same problem in Michigan. Not good at all.
Must Lakes West Of DFW Are Very Low.Last Thankgiveing 2023 I Went Out Two Lake Weatherford.Weatherford,Tx.95% Boat Docks Were Born Dry.We All Need Rains Bad.Need A Big Floods.
Keep us updated
This was heartbreaking. I have no words to express how bad I feel for the Mike and the fishery. The pond I fish in had a huge fish kill last summer. This was a similar view with all of the dead fish. Fall of 2022 I was catching 15 - 25 Crappie per day. Fall of 2023 I caught 2 Crappie in all of September - November. I feel his pain. Praying for rain... NOW!
Thanks for the prayers!! Believe me when I say it’ll come back and when it does you’ll see some of the most incredible fishing vids from Lojo at our Lake that you’ve ever seen This place is absolutely insane when it’s 75%~90% full!!
@@mikeledsome I love your positive attitude. May God bless and keep your business thriving!
@@chipseiler1766 This Lake was built in 1927 and has gone down every 8-10 years but never dry. 2010 it was about 5-7 acres and with a 8" rain, came back full and thrived for the next 12 years. I still catch huge bass even now.
Hey question is there supposed to be water in that lake? I think you forgot to mention it...
Very tragic to see! But also see some opportunities for some major fish habitat to be built!
That’s what lm doing bro!! Making the best out of what we have!!
You would be surprised how bass can survive those conditions. It's happened to me before. Nothing seemed to be living in the pond, but when the tank level back up, then I caught a huge bass about 10 pounds. That was in Texas too.
We still have multiple 10’s in the Lake it’s just sad to see the few that have died. It’ll bounce back soon!!👊
It also the heat wave every year that dried up the lakes
Check the US drought monitor, this part of Texas isn’t even in a drought. They’re having some other water issue, either the water table has dropped, someone rerouted their feeder stream, or their outlet structures have failed.
We need rain in about a 5 mile radius to fall. It has not. Rain all around us but not where it's needed. Just have not had anything in this radius above 1" in 2 years. Gotta have those "run off rains"
You my fav KZheadr lojo
Does a crocodile track and you can even see where lead where does big bottle is
I HOPE TO ONE DAY TO BE ABLE TO FISH WITH YOU LOJO...IF YOUR EVER IN CENTRAL FL BROTHER...KEEP UP THE GREAT CONTENT BROTHER. 👍
That's alligator alligator tracks❤
How many inches of rain did u guys get last week?
I will pray for a good rain there
This is sad any rain in the forecast ?? Hope it fills back up soon
Isnt that the same place i see you film videoz in little john boats and catch monsters? Thats very sad
That’s it
Lake Travis and central Texas lakes are so low as well Need a Texas flood
Did you ever get to go to Toby's lake with lurkers
A lake in the desert that dried up, who would have thought?
Needs to drill a feed well
Great video, man. love them all. Keep up the good work. We still want the podcast to comeback please I will continue to spam the comments. Tell we address this, please, and thank you
How recent was this filmed? I live about an hour away and i know this last summer was bad with the 2 months straight of triple digit temps. All the lakes and ponds where so low a creek nearby my house was completely gone. Everythings come back now though. Was hoping the lake was able to come back
Last week
@mikeledsome dang, just wishful thinking on my part that it was from this last summer. Going into a summer with the water that low is gonna be rough. Well it's supposed to rain all week so hopefully these April showers help it bounce back a little.
@mikeledsome yall get any of this rain? Everything where I am is flooded. Was thinkin it's just what yall needed if it hit yall.
I hate to see that lake in such dire circumstances. Prayers for Mike and the lake.
Thank you!!🙏
Now is the time to do modifications. I would did out a deeper section
They need to put some indoor ponds in a warehouse and move some of the big bass there to keep them alive until thwme wayer comes back.
I’ve been noticing some water missing due to the hot weather
Sad times for that lake
That is bad hopefully they will get some rain
I wonder if the waters low 😅
Nooo not the stand in laaake!! Sad case
It saddens me to see a lake like this in this kind of condition. I blame our government for the state of nature in this area. The urbanization around all these areas has caused rain water to be diverted to other areas. Concrete is a blessing and a curse. I hope they get some rain soon and that it gets back to where it used to be. The bait in the small honey holes gives me hope. Thanks for sharing LOJO. Hope all is well man. God bless!
