I love the BTS insight! How do travel and accommodations work for you and your family during the Olympics? Does USA Swimming have a block of rooms for friends and family? One month out to book, all that travel seems SPENDY!

Once you make the Olympic team, how does the taper work between trials and Paris as there is only around a month between. Do you continue with the low volume or do you ramp up again briefly and taper for a second time?

I'm a beginner. At some point can you break down your training sets....ie, what does it mean to swim at 'pace' or at a '1.05 pace' etc
I'm a competitive swimmer of five years. If you go a 6:00 500 free, your 500 pace would be 1:12 (per 100). If you went a 2:10 200 free your 200 pace would be 32.5 (per 50). Anything else I can try to explain? :)

Realistically speaking, what's the chance of Cody actually swimming at the Olympics?
100 percent
He’s got a shot, but I wouldn’t say he’s a favourite. Fink is the clear #1 in the 100, with Foster, Andrew, Nichols, and Cody’s teammate Matheny all in the second tier maybe a little ahead of Cody. 200 is trickier because it’s pretty open after Matt Fallon (who’s the only American under 2:08 in a while). Foster, Matheny, and Fink are probably the next best guesses and maybe old dawgs Will Licon or Daniel Roy on the same tier as Cody.
