I was expecting the joke to be that the person who went after Keenan was going to steal the sickle cell cure from him, but this was a better direction.

@@Tao_Tology Depends on the rules, I guess. There's usually a limits on steals so by the last person, everything good is stolen at the limits but it generally sucks to be first.

This was my favorite sketch of the episode. Even without a better ending, I thought the idea was great and the performances were too. The whole moment where after the emotional speech about sickle cell, Kenan trades the cure for Boogie Woogie Santa - Kenan at his best. And the audience reaction made it even better. Good work from Punkie too.

I dunno. Those last couple twists took it into territory that was too dark to be truly funny. But I can admire their boldness if I look at this as acidic commentary on the trivialization of life these days: when 10 second TikTok clips which will be forgotten tomorrow carry more weight than serious issues that can improve the quality of life for millions forever.

I jammed with Blues and Jazz musicians born in 1910/15/20 and they all valued their health. Also they could be funny with no bitterness. A conversation in a barber shop in Roxbury: "How are you brother Bill?" "I got the damn Gout, I always heard it was the desease of rich white people. I'm living proof that it ain't true!" They are all gone now but once in a while we talk and jam in my dreams.

Having worked on CRISPR/Cas9 projects, this was absolutely hilarious 😂. All that hard work to design a novel treatment for a painful genetic condition, the blood, sweat, tears over grants and experiments, and no one wants it 😂😂😂.
