    • Yea that drop gets on my nerves.. they’ll be on the man and just back up allowing them to shoot. It works on people like Lebron but not shooters like Herro. Lebron never wants to shoot mid range shots, would rather drive so the drop is effective for players like him and Zion another good example. Game 2 they were daring the Heat to shoot and boy did they shoot!! 😂 Celtics allows bad shooters to shoot but sometimes it backfired when they’re hitting the shots. Then it’s too late to switch it because the shooters are hot.

    @TBass050@TBass05016 күн бұрын
    • I'm not taking anything away from AC and his videos because he is great at breaking down plays but anyone that played organized basketball for a good coach or a good basketball school/town would know these are all basic defensive concepts for man to man defense. Gotta play your man while also being able to play help defense. When you practice 6 days a week for 3-6 straight years playing basketball and 75% of all practice is focusing on defense and what to do then this information just doesn't go away.

  • They say in football that defense wins championships, but the same could be said about basketball, especially this year when the Celtics dominated everyone. The Heat won game two because of extraordinarily high three-point shooting accuracy, but one cannot expect that level of performance every game and the Heat do not have enough, if any, skilled players who can go to the basket consistently against a defense like the Celtics have. So either the Heat shoot like 60% from the field, of which a high percentage three-pointers, or they lose in five.

I think if the Celtics can limit that then everything else worked really well.
