STEP by STEP - How to lift up Jeep Wrangler's hard top | MicBergsma
The video show you EVERYTHING on how to lift up Jeep Wrangler's hard top, from the beginning to end with SUBTITLES! We watched other videos on how to lift up the hard top, but found nothing really useful for us because we are all deaf. So we decided to make a new video of step by step instructions with subtitles!

I'm doing this today! Out of all the videos I've seen, this one is the easiest looking. I really love the fact you included subtitles and parts list. Great job!
You taught me how to pick a GoPro camera with your vids. You taught me how to use my camera with your vids. Now you teach me how to remove the top off my Jeep. You guys ROCK!!! So well done and thorough. Awesome, as usual!!!
I do not own a jeep, I do not know anybody who owns a jeep, I have no desire to remove the top of a jeep...yet I found this video entertaining and informative. Good job!
Thank you deaf Lesbians! Thank you surfer dude Mic! My son and I built ours today!
I really enjoyed this video! Got me kick-started on my own project. I did some things differently - cam type straps for easy lowering and slings so hooks aren't directly toughing the roof.
Thanks for taking the time to post this. It was very helpful.
I just got a Wrangler Unlimited and used this video to get my Jeep hardtop off the very first day I had my Jeep. Thanks a bunch!
Good job ladies. Gonna do the same thing but with a motorized hoist and pulleys!! You girls rock!!
Thanks For Sharing! I have to make a hoist for my daughters Jeep this weekend..very informative and easy to understand. Perfect!
One of my favorite silent movies ever...
+Avalanche7 lol hhhhh
thanks for sharing. we were able to use this to put the jeep top back on off the floor. amazing!
GREAT VIDEO!!!....I've been looking for a video for a while that is very informative and straight forward for my Jeep...This is perfect, just bookmarked it...Thank You!
Nicely done. As noted by others, my concern is using the ratchet straps to lower the top. They don't lower slowly so this could be a challenge.
Great instructions, and having fun while doing it. Well done, Ladies!!
I'm getting my 2013 Unlimited tomorrow! Good job with the video! This really helps.
Excellent video! Best I've seen on how to install your own lift system and storage! Great job, and thanks!
Just wanted to say thanks! I did this with my 2005 LJ and it worked perfectly.
Great video. You guys (girls) ROCKED this.
Awesome! Thanks for making the video! Very simple and very smart lol wish i would have thought about this a long time ago
Excellent demo! Thank you !
I've owned a jeep for awhile and I always have trouble getting my hardtop off. This is a great idea! Thanks Mitch!
this is the best video on youtube! thanks! my weekend is better and sunnier ☀️
Right on John, thanks!! Awesome drive safe!! :)
Women make THE BEST how to videos!
jeannine cannito 😄🤙🏼
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Great job girls! This is definitely something I will be doing. The video turned out great! 2 thumbs up!
Man you guys saved me tons of time, thanks for the video!!
high five!
Looks like I found my Sunday project. Thanks!
Great Video ladies. Awesome Job !
I subscribed to this channel years ago when I wanted to get and learn about GoPros and I was so impressed then and now that I am looking for DYI Jeep hardtop lifts I came across another one of your videos. Dude, you are the man and you have such great adventures and in this vid you get to ride around in a sweet Rubicon with to pretty girls..... awesome!
Raymond Stone wow small world! Thank you😄👍🏼
Great video! My Gf and I will be doing this over the weekend! I'm dying to take my top off :D
Great job gals! I'm totally ready to install this just like yall have it tomorrow morning. One thing that would be nice to know is the distance of the eye hole bolts from one another. Not a critical thing, but that would help map it out quicker for us now that yall have shown everything else! Good ol Texas gals! Thanks again
i somehow did the same thing. you'll made it look way easier. good video, love it
Great idea girls! You did a great job!
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
I did this exact thing for my jeep, works like a charm
Amazing, getting surprised every video ! perfect
Mitch, you have every man in America jealous of you for having such awesome lady friends (wife). Good job on the video!
Excellent lift points, much better than some who lifts the roof at the front edge, nice!
Great idea! I have all I need already. My question is, how do you lower it back down in place? Thanks again, Frank
Great work!
This was so much fun to watch👍👌😋
Thanks! Great vid!
Thank you. Very helpful, and no chit chat.
Very cool presentation!
were like twins! color and everything! awesome video. very cool way to remove the top. wish i had a garage to do this. that looks way easier than having to find someone to help remove it.
how did you release the locks when you wanted to put the top back on
That’s a video a been looking for too
Will be installing this by next week 🤘😄
love this video!
great job!! now I'm going to do the same!
great video man
Thanks a lot! Big help!
Thank you very much Now I can do it by my self yeahhhhhh👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍
I'm a proud new member of the Jeep Wrangler family. We just bought a 99 Sahara edition and looking forward to our many open-top rides through the mountains of western North Carolina. This video is awesome, and as luck would have it, I too have a garage to build a lift. Looks like a trip to Lowe's for me :)
YAY I can't wait to get my Jeep.
Great job!
Great job 🙌🙌
Very nicely done. No need to say anything. Good job.
Great video! Thx for sharing
Anytime Timothy!
Great video!!
Wow nice work!!!
Great video
hey ladies, awesome video.... you just save me some money... i will definitely use your way.. thank you so much!!!
nicely done!
Awesome!!! Very Helpful!
Best 1iv seen yet!
Tremendo video gracias
Well done!
Excellent!! Thank you....!
Nice job. I was considering doing something with pulleys and block and tackle, but I think I will just go with the way you ladies did it. I have to hoist mine all the way up high to use my garage and thought that releasing ratchet tie-downs to reinstall would be tough from that height, but I will just release them with someone holding the hardtop and get it to lower position (inches above the jeep) to put the hardtop back on. No complicated plans. Thanks.
coolest top removal video!!!!! love it
Good job ladies!
Thank-you, Thank-you, THANK_YOU! So helpful, you guys look like a lot of fun. When can we do lunch?
Nice job!
The real trick is getting it back on. Ratchet straps don't release in ratchet mode. Try using a nylon hoist.
awesome! Thank you
Thanks for the video! We are going to get a Wrangler and I was trying to explain my idea the wife. Now she gets what I was talking about.
Nice job .. Thanks .
Amazing !
That was great! Saved a few hundred bucks!
really nice video.
Sweet! Thanks!
Great video guys! Very funny & informative!:)
Excellent tutorial, way more concise and informative then any of the other videos out there. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Nice job!!!!
You ladies rock!!!!!!
Best part about this video was the tree branch that wacked you when you were celebrating. I'm 99% sure that would happen to me. Thanks for the great video! definitely super helpful!
Great. I'm go an try that. Thanks
Very cool! :-D Thanks!
good tip!
AWESOME!!!!
Awesome! !
thanks guys
Awesome!
Mitch I loved your videos before but one with a Jeep!!! oh my to much for me!
Thank you for a awesome video! I copied it to the T! lol
Great video, and nice low-tech solution.... I don't think I would leave it hang for long periods of time for fear of warping the top. That's just me....
I commend you women for doing a great job. This is pretty much how I did it on my CJ7. Now I'd like to build one that uses a crank and pullys.
Nice, I love that car
I'm not done watching the video but I hope you guys out the bolts in the assigned area in the back where they made little holes to hold the t-40 hardtop bolts and the t50 door bolts
how do you do it to download, that system releases the weight with a movement
Wow impressive
