  • He has lived a wonderful life. No one can stay young or stay handsome or beautiful forever. You live long enough, and you will age. How you've lived is far more important than how you looked.

  • Considering A very difficult childhood at best and growing up during the Depression, without a Father and no expression of love or hate, I think RR has been fortunate! How many of us will be alive at 90 years old? He is living a fortunate blessed life. Still married to 2nd wife In which they are exposed to living a Mega Hollywood Life is a blessing. Utah is their refuge. They have surrounded themselves with some or if not the most beautiful land of this country. No press or Fan followers to which travel is hard at best. Robert Redford seems to have experienced most if not all that one person can. I applaud him and Admire his movies and his looks to this day. Thank you for this Biography! Outstanding run fown!

For someone as handsome as he was in his prime, you’re going to notice it more. I mean no disrespect to Mr Newman, he was\is an excellent actor. But why do have try to sensationalize things? If you can’t come up with a decent story and “Lead-In”(or whatever you call it), I guess you have to rely on Sensationalism.

Soulless yet rich and famous, because made the bargain with the devil then comes the evil and sick masonry rituals, which is the only way to the riches and the fame of this world. Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? • Robert Redford has a beautiful soul and no one nor any amount of time can take that away or tarnish that. He IS a beautiful man and I have admired him for many decades. I, too, had polio. Back in the early 1950's. My case was fairly mild, leaving me with a scoliosis but my mom had it much worse. She spent nearly a year in an iron lung at County General Hospital in Los Angeles. I grew up in Van Nuys - Sherman Oaks and graduated from Van Nuys High School in the Class of June, 1964. I had no idea Mr. Redford also went to my high school. I also had no idea of all the hardships Mr. Redford and his family endured over the years. It is so heartbreaking to learn of this. No one should have to go through even a fraction of what he and his beautiful family have. So very sad. I can only hope that the remainder of his life is turmoil and heartbreak free. So very glad I saw this video pop up in my suggestions here and watched it. 💙

  • When you are talking about Robert Redford's relationship with Natlie Wood, you mention that a young Natallie Wood starred in "The Miracle on 34th Street". You show a movie poster or art from the film, but it's the wrong film. The film that Natalie starred in was the 1947 version starring Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle and Natalie Wood as Susan Walker, but you display the movie poster from the 1994 version starring Richard Attenborough as Kris Kringle and a 7-year-old Mara Wilson as Susan Walker. Not being nitpicky, just correcting a minor error. Otherwise, this is a great video about Redford! Thanks for putting it together and uploading it to KZhead.

I'm 73 years old and I have had a life of good-fortune and relative ease despite being a terrible student in school and working at blue-collar jobs my whole life. I have had money problems but never to the point of hunger. And I have been healthy. Here's where my philosophy probably differs from that of Redford. I could have been born anywhere else, or at any other time in history and my life would have been a whole lot worse. I could have been born with a physical or cognitive disability, but I wasn't. I figure that when looking back at my life, I won the lottery. I'm luckier than 999 out of every 1000 people.

  • That is one hell of a lot of tragedy for one person to endure. Redford is resilient, intelligent, generous, kind, funny and down to earth. I have heard him say in an interview that the most important part of film making is story telling. He said that story tellers were numerous in his family, and he appreciated hearing their stories. Thank you, Robert Redford, for sharing your film stories with us. We are so much better for having experienced them.

    • @@GodIsInTheTv ... but aside from all that, it's also terrible. That AI narrator's voice, so monotonously serious, that's used on about a million other videos every day, is so boring it's bad; and that's before we get to the doom-laden script, which is even worse than the voice.

    • Robert Redford was not in the movie Miracle on 34th Street w/Natalie Wood as a 8 yr old child. Btw the gal in the Horse Whisperer was Scarlett Johansson. Also a little unimportant fact to me about Robert is when he was young and good looking, he had very bad skin. The movie producers were able to cover it up.

He had a long and illustrious career. Never knew of all the hardships he went through, plus he was a rebel. He's ninety now, and still has the same hair style. Lol. Can't look like 40 at 90. • Growing up in the LA theater world, myself, I was adverse to star-crushing and the oh so obnoxious paparazzi groupie activity. Yet the handsome all-American youthful looks of Robert Redford gave me a little girl crush that lasted a lifetime. He was an impishly handsome and enormously talented actor from day one. Plus, I admired his downplay of looks and continuous seeking of a more healthy quality of life for himself and family. One thing this vlogger hasn't mentioned has been Redford's enormous contribution to the filming/acting/directing community with the establishment of his nonprofit Sundance Institute, enabling young and hopeful artists to learn and polish their craft.

  • The title is so ridiculous! ROBERT REDFORD is living a good life I believe - nothing is sad about him. He is in the middle of his eighties and what the hell? Can he not enjoy his retirement from acting and living a quiet life now on his Utah Ranch with his family? What is sad about that? He is one if the actors who was never hiding behind his age - he was always very authentic! I think with 82 he gave an interview where je was saying no it's time to stop acting because he is getting older - and it's o.k.! He has all my respect for this decision! He will not sit around and is doing nothing. I believe he is still very active with his Sundance Company and maybe movie directing etc. but just not in the active acting buisness anymore and that's o.k. Leave such a great actor alone and let him enjoy privacy! He has given enough to the world in his acting career and he has exposed himself so much so now it's the time to let him be on his own! Every now and then we will hear and see something about him - maybe or maybe not and that should be fine for everyone when someone is slowly moving out of the public eye!!!
