2022 is better & entertaining guide especially for non-fans
@@hattahr5383 yeah the 2022 version far enjoyable but the balance between members is bad like jeongyeon and tzuyu that got only a little parts unlike the rest of the girls got same duration.

guys if you have time pls check the 2024 updated guide!! it has infos from last year and beginning of 2024 also twice is releasing their 5th japanese album in july and nayeon is having her 1st comeback this year!

also this guide is not good at providing context for new fans, so here's the context on some of the things shown in the guide: NAYEON (pronounced "Nah-yon") - born in 1995 - MC Rail is her "rapping alter ego" JEONGYEON (pronounced "Jong-yon") - the mom of the group - the ultimate prankster of the group - the most charitable member MOMO - yes, she is japanese, but struggles with speaking in japanese SANA - "shy shy shy" is a line from their song "Cheer Up", that became trending and basically launched Twice's career into a massive success and eventual nationwide phenomenon MINA - she is called a "penguin" because of the way she "waddles" when she walks/runs, due to her extensive ballet training. - "Sharon" is her english name, as well as her alter ego that is associated with her more "sexy" personality. when she starts to act seductive, best believe, that's Sharon right there

You guys should check out the 2024 guide, it’s much more updated but this is also technically pretty good, just doesn’t include new releases. Some music updates: misamo (the Japanese line, first part of their names Mina Sana Momo) debuted with their first full album Masterpiece with two mvs last summer Jihyo (main vocal) released her first solo album last August, Zone with title track killin me good & bside promotions for Closer. She rlly showcases her vocals and dance skills here, she’s known to be one of the best dancers in twice.
You should check a more popular guide. It came recently (2023). It has everything you want to know: why they named them Twice, and became Nation Girl Group, members and characters, how they made history in the K-pop industry, and much more. This guide you reacted to now only focuses on the members' characters and the discography written by each member. There is also a guide in 2024 similar to the guide in 2022, which focuses on the members. Both are good guides, I think the 2023 guide is better because besides talking about the member, it's more about everything in Twice from the beginning of their debut. The name of the guide (2023), Who Is Twice? A Dive Into The Living Legend! And when you decide to check their albums (mostly mini albums, 6 to 7 song tracks) and they're the only K-pop girl group ranked in the top 10 in Billboard album sales from 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 and recently got no.1 0n 2024, the first week after they come back. 2020 album Eyes Wide Open 2021 album Formula Of Love 2022 album Between 1&2 2023 album Ready To Be and 2024 album With You-th.

Mina's a penguin because she points her toes outwards when she walks sometimes which she picked up from ballet. This causes her to waddle so now she's penguin.

in k-pop group (which actually every group or every band) each member would be specific part to fill in the plate, right? some group find same tone of vocal some might not (like TWICE with so much different vocal tone) and everything have pros & cons. (as this, some might find it 'too much' sound, but it's fun for me.) something i think that k-pop is different from western is they form by agency, while in western form by friends or relation or same music genre that they interested in. as i said, everything have pros&cons. in western, they might already know which path they choose since the beginning but also hard to continue to create their own music (which also might be pretty hard to find someone to wrote songs for them) while k-pop group might on the edge as not know what actually path they would take but in the same time they have wide open opportunity. after sixteen, JYP got many comments about why add someone back, but as i saw, it's his company, it's his trainees, so he did (as he could) to make sure (as much as possible that) this group would last long (as long as possible). not like producer 101 that already know contract just 1 year and trainee are from different agency. and funny thing, in one interview (not sure 'TWICE seize the light' or some TWICE TV) he said, he very afraid to debut girl group (i think, might because of a lot of pressure in the business, a lot of hater for no reason) not to mention 'soloist' as he said members is the key to help each other in the group (this maybe why he not debut somi, because he want to find a group for her, but somi is too strong to be in the group, she end up leave JYPE and debut as soloist in black label) a lot of interesting thing in k-pop (or actually k-entertainment) business. but also a lot of crazy thing like fan wars, hater, k-netizens. :D have a good day. :)

Oh, if you're doing Sixteen, definitely brace yourself for the fact that it's not the most comfy/wholesome audition show. It's very intriguing and eye-opening, but certain show decisions are a bit questionable, and it reveals some of the uglier things in K-Pop. JYP's future iterations of those shows have gotten progressively more respectable.
