I was going to finish it so I put it in the bucket of my tractor to bring it in the shop and it fell of the bucket, hit the ground and broke in half. So I burned it. :(

How long did the log have to dry before you started cutting?

The tree had been cut 7 months before. I Can't see why you couldn't carve immediately after cutting the tree.

Just watched the video, shame about the mishap with the tractor. But golly gee that drawknife is so sharp, the thin slices it was removing...I've seen thicker potato chips (we all them crisps here in UK) in a bag!!

Would have looked better if you left the bottom solid, three legs ? uhn you lost me there. Possibly carve the chair back spindles in place, and possibly four legs with more detail ?

عذرا للكتابه باللغه العربيه ...... المهم توصيل النصيحه . من الأفضل أن تترك الخشب على الأقل شهر فى الفضاء حتى يجف او فى فرن تجفيف لمدة 10 أيام ثم يتم التصنيع بعد ذلك أفضل حتى تظهر عيوب التجفيف بعد التصنيع و يذهب جهدك هباء .وشكرا جزيلا على مجهودكم وبالتوفيق دائما
