Israeli forces have entered the hospital complex, conducting what they called a 'precise and targeted operation against Hamas in a specified area' of the medical compound.

Israel said the military had launched the raid because Hamas has a command centre underneath the hospital and uses connected tunnels to hold hostages, an allegation denied by Hamas. Global calls for a humanitarian ceasefire have mounted in recent days, and the fate of al-Shifa, Gaza's biggest hospital has become a focus of international alarm because of worsening conditions in the facility.

    • @todelete739 The human race is the most valuable thing in all reality. It is so because humans are people, and people are the part of reality that can understand all reality. We also, therefore, have power over reality, at least the part that can hurt us; namely, the physical world. All of this means that humans are not only the best chance but also the only chance that this planet and all of the life living on it has for long-term survival. Only humans will make the asteroid go away. That's worth preserving.

    • Most of the supplies come from donations so they're not specifically made in those countries. English is an international language isn't it obvious that every health kits coming from UN or donations have english writing on it. Doesn't have to come from english speaking countries. And I'm pretty sure most of the english speaking countries are busy funding the genocide.

    • I think they are aware that raiding a hospital looks bad, so they are trying to offset it by delivering humanitarian aid. The support of the American government depends on the opinions of the American public. So, they're in English.
