    • SO much better than the guy on most of these who keeps interrupting the guests and injecting his own experience into the conversation. Hope they have her on more.

      @AvengedZeppelin20@AvengedZeppelin206 жыл бұрын
    • She has great intuition and is such a chill conversationalist! But most importantly she doesn't INTERRUPT like freakin' Stephen Galloway and lets the guests finish their anecdotes, and even if they trail away or ramble on she gives them the space and respect to realise it themselves instead of abruptly cutting them off, thats just disrespectful! Like he needs to STAPPH.

    • Those 2 shows feel like they belong to each other somehow. I know they are very different but the vibe, the sometimes subtle/over-the-top humor, fresh perspectives kind of privide a similar creative relief to audiences. They are my favorite shows right now.

But also so very grateful that Kenya decided to lean into the pigeonholing cause he's given us or been involved with some awesome black entertainment, from Girlfriends to Barbershop, Blackish/ Grownish to Girls Trip. Hella talented.

It reminds me of the segments on Chelsea (the Netflix series) where she has a handful of people over for dinner and they just discuss whatever. It's so refreshing to see a long form group interview. I'm almost mad I've only now found this but similarly so pleased with the amount of content that I can view.

  • One Day At A Time is a very special sit-com. One of its greatest moments in my opinion has to be the way they represented depression and mental illness. Something I've never seen in its format. They did it with respect, humor, honesty and hope. I can't put into words how much it meant to me. Gloria, Phoebe, Donald Glover are the writers I look up to.

In every single one of these Roundtables all I've seen him do is step on other people talking and constantly reframe comments into a story about him. Just give him and his ego their own Roundtable and the rest of the writers a separate one.
