But opposition and the need for manpower in the west led the Germans to retreat and them to become their own countries. Idk how the ussr won against Belarus or Ukraine but they failed against Poland and the Baltic nations. Idk if they attacked Finland during the inter war period.

Screw the political branch, rush down the industry tree and load yourself up with tons of factories, then go politics/ have 1 country go politics and annex the other countries and core them and their juicy factories to make one SUPER strong baltic country!

  • Loved that. Tbh, German suicide front in Luxembourg simply comes from the fact that the tree is either totally railroaded (historical) or totally random… there is no strategic decision whatsoever to adapt the fronts of your neighbor countries joins axis or not. I.e. Allies will always declare war on Iran even though they do not go axis

  • This makes me wonder if the Benelux also have bonuses for working together and if they can beat Germany that way (without ally help). I mean from this that seems relatively easily, but that would historically be wild. In fact, with how easy France seems to capitulate you might even get the change to rebuild a Carolingian (/Frankish) Empire, as Charlemagne was very likely born in what is now Belgium.
