That speaks to me especially after dealing with a terrorizing roommate. He moved out 2 years ago, thankfully. The time he was in the house was a living hell for me and I constantly felt unsafe. I even considered pressing hate crime charges. Truth be told, I don't actually hate him. There's no excuse for what he did to me but I'm not the kind of person who is intentionally rude or malicious to others. I hope that he learns for the better.

This song came into my head today while feeling happy, planning a fun vacation, surviving cancer (4 Years!!) and leaving a toxic relationship! Almost 15 years after its release this song is iconic & rings true for so many women regardless of race, place or circumstance!!
