Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder Develioğlu offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer. Nothing will ever be the same for Cihan and Hançer, who have entered an irreversible path. I will give it to Hançer for her willingness to walk away from the marriage even knowing there are consequences. Although, it’s a foolish decision on her part. It’s a good thing it didn’t take 50 episodes for Cihan to find out Hançer didn’t take the money 💵 😂. Love that Sinem and Engin spoke up for Hançer.

Yeahhhh, it's kinda cute that he revisits these memories, but then his next words and actions show that he completely missed all the clues that Hançer is actually not a bad person. He's to busy flaring his nostrils and glaring through his eyebrows. It's gotten so old!

We can finally start seeing Cihan and Hancer together, thank you :). Hopefully Cihan will loosen up a little bit, he is usually stiff and uptight, LOL!! It was really great that it was the older maid that found the money, and not another plot twist where the ex-wife did, used it to pay off her friend and then took many episodes for the truth to come out, LOL.

El más rasonable en todo es Engin....pero el problema con Çihan, es que nadie le dice la verdad completa para que deje de desconfiar de todo! Él está enamorado de Hançer, pero piensa lo peor de ella, por el dinero que le pidió, espero que eso se resuelva pronto! ❣️ Por lo menos el dinero llegó a su destino, a donde tenía que llegar, para aclarar el honor de Hançer ante los ojos de Çihan!

Cihan is actually a good person but he hides his goodness behind his cruel persona because Hancer hurt his pride when she asked for money to marry him. He's scared of her because he loves her! His first time in love because he never loved Camel lips!!! AND he's angry AND jealous that Engin was helping her and lied to him!!! ❤❤❤❤

Compared to previous episodes, the narration pace is improving.. less of staring and silence..the characters are talking.. if they can improve the story pace, it would be good to watch.

Well I really hope she won't come back to her "husband" and in that terribile house. She didn't take the money she asked him before. She could be free from the contract she made,sacrifecing her self for her brother health and for all the debts. This wonderful sensitive lawyer is helping her very much and I really can understand why she moved from that man,that mother in low and that sad aggressive house. This dizi treats an important argument for women and how easy is imposed them to sacrifice their life,their soul,their dreams and dignity when they are poor...forced to accept any compromise for escue their poor families. At the moment this dizi is very slow...it's a pity! If the arguments should be developed in a proper way it could be a very interesting one

The storyline, especially regarding the issue of women's honor, is intriguing and unique compared to other Turkish dramas I've watched. The actors are stunning, and I'm definitely hooked and eager to see more. However, I believe there's room for improvement, particularly in the dialogues and the variety of scenes.

This show has a budget and this is why it’s not played daily. I love2 hours once a week series.
I like the slow pace of how the Charakters are developing. Derya is excellent, I can't help but hate her.
You will lose all the audience. The serie is getting with every episode worst. Too slow guys,we realy starting to not understand anymore! Sister in law need to be shut down and we need more action between Hancer and Cihan. Every one is saying the same thing and you with your production sooner or later will cancel this serie. Que más rápido quieres que vaya!! Creo que Çihan sabe que Hançer no se llevó el dinero, que hay algo más detrás de todo! No se que es lo que va lento! En lo personal veo la serie por los dos actores, a pesar de que ahora están en polos opuestos, como pareja sentimental (actoral) podrían hacer un buen trabajo!

Hancer's brother seems to be unconcerned about his debts and lacks a plan to pay them off. There's a concern that even if Hancer helps him clear his debts, he may quickly accumulate new ones, especially given his wife's financial expectations. I am not sure if her sacrifice and her financial assistance would be beneficial in the long run.
