@@adamdennison80 It's a different sport so i don't understand the 'better than the men's team' nonsense before the tournament has even started for the ladies. The mens got to a final and only lost that on penalties in a vastly harder and more competitve tournament. Soooo..... you coming back to this planet any time soon?

Making up for the men's recent performances
Guys you do realise that England Womens team haven't lost a game since April last year against Canada? It is true, they are better than the mens. If you did your research with the matches England Women have had, you'd know that. Also England Mens have had it easy all throughout the world cup and euros the last few years because other teams slacked off and weren't in easy groups. England Mens had it easy these last few years and it's not impressive.

The performance of the first half definitely displeased me. Lucy Bronze's absence was strongly felt. Sarina's option was to defend Daly as RB, Bright and Leah Williamson in the defender and Greenwood as lb. Well, Greenwood hasn't played LB for a long time, so it remained extremely conservative. This configuration made the team very spared and without even the domain it usually exerts. England practically apathetic. He returned to the second half the same way, and that also displeased me. Then came the goal, in a play created after several minutes without much pressure. As we know, when the first comes, soon after comes the others. Then Carter came in (I would like Carter to enter 0x0). Carter didn't seem so well. Who came in very well was Chloe Kelly who scored wonderful plays in two goals, in one of them at the origin of the penalty, a move in which I also highlight the wonderful movement in the air of Lauren Hemp. Finally, it is these problems, and more ever: every time England is pressured, it suffers too much: the English defensive air ball is disastrous. But beyond that, it is very strong and charming. Sarina does an excellent job.

Since Wiegman took over P20-W18-D2-L0- GF 106 - GA 5. on the way to the Euro victory, they beat 3 previous euro winners, 4 if you include holland in the friendly. Thats every team that has ever won a euro :) and we have the usa on 7th oct. current world champions. IF , and its a big IF , we beat the usa, then you can say we are the best :)

That Greenwood kick was a great moment. And it was very precise. When Greenwood steps up for a free kick or a corner kick you know it will be very precise
The men could learn a lot from the women. The women don't dive. They don't pretend to be injured. They don't time waste. I think they're great! I've loved watching Euro 22. It's been a breath of fresh air! 👍👍🏿

We missed Lucy and it would of been nice to see Ellen of the field. That said we have such a brilliant set of players who once they got the measure of Switzerland knew what to do Our bench yet again were amazing. Well done girls just love watching you play several times a game.

Your opinion does not have factual support. England have not won a major tournament. You seem to be forgetting USA (4) and Germany (2), the only nations to win multiple World Cups. England have not been ranked number one and are currently eighth in the FIFA rankings, so how can they be the best? The title belongs to the current US team.
If they are they'll have a chance to prove it at this Euros and the next World Cup. Until then the USA hold the title.

Sorry to be the one to say this but .....nothing against the women but I couldn't see Alan sheared or Wayne Rooney heading or shooting straight at the keeper. There's so many one on ones or 3 v 2s where the end product is a shot into the keepers arms. Fine if your winning 4 0 but in close games that might be your only chance. I think the ladies here seem to be happy with getting a shot off rather than thinking about placement of the shot.

Women commentators! lol "I don't know how thats a penalty" How about the Swiss defense got into a mix up, ran into each other, fell & then one of them grabbed the ball = a PENALTY!
That's Chelsea women's team manager Emma Hayes MBE on the commentary and she was absolutely spot on, Stanway ditched her opponent clearly and she made contact to the player that fouled the ball, say whatever you want but it's deff not really a penalty tbf
If you have full brain or if you were watching from a bigger screen like those commentators do, you can see clearly the foul Stanway committed, i love the lioness and am even gunning for them at the EURO'S but won't let me to say what i don't know simple.
Players don't trip easily to the floor if there's no force of gravity use on them in the air and look closely on that again to spot the foul
I have no problem with female commentators; I have come to the conclusion that it was one of the harshest penalty calls I've seen. The poor girl who fell on the ball was hit by another player, and had absolutely no control over whether she handled it or not.
The Swiss goalkeeper could justifiably claim to be the best for her team, and she still lost 4-0
The women's game is getting more entertaining by the season.
