Hi sir, I was running 3 sets of led all of 16ft each with 3 different 12v 2 amp adapters recently one of the adapters broke, can I use one adapter to run 2 sets of 16ft LEDs?
You can use 1 adaptor but there is possibilty that light may go dim. I am using two 8ft strip on one adaptor by parallel connection successfully.
These lights draw 0.6 Amps per meter. Now do the basic maths!

Hi harsh. Thank you so much for your compliment. You can add all pieces in series to 12v 2 amp adapter. As well as you can add in parallel as well. But it is not wise to add multiple strips because it can overload the adapter as adapter is usually very chep and made up of low quality parts. For shorter size strip you can add in

Brother you light all the strip. If I want to light 1 feet or 2 feet from this strip how much watt or how much voltage do I need to connect or buy an adapter.
This Smd5050 type led consumes approx. 14watt per meter. This can vary. You can use 12v 1amp or 2 amp adapter for this short length

Sure, Generally Led strip roll come without adapter so you have to buy adapter. The small black box you saw in video that is 12v adapter and it turn high voltage to low voltage. You can buy this adapter from electronic shop who sales small electronic parts of Tv radio, remote etc. Adapter has 2 end with 2-2 wires each end, ok. One side will show IN(220v) and other Side OUT(12v).IN side goes into electric socket board and OUT side will have red and black wires and they will be connected to led strip's red and black wire. The led strip that you have must have 2 wires red & black. Adapter OUT side red wire with red wire of led and adapter's black wire with black wire of led. Now observe. Carefully that On IN side means 220v and that will have both wire with same color as in video they are white.
