    • Just coming here to make that exact comment. Followed him all the way whilst watching him!! Mad!!!

      @markwalton8644@markwalton86442 жыл бұрын
    • Well he wasn't diving like the dude being recorded. He literally just jumped out and jumped feet first into the water in order to keep the shot on the dude diving. The dude who was recording jump was even more amazing than the dude diving bc the dude diving was able to jump out further, then jumping out feet down. This was definitely amazing all around. I'm sure only a few people would be brave enough or have the leg strength to do this dive and jump (the cameraman would have had more leg strength than the diver because he had to jump himself further out than the diver because the diver did a "summersault"(I don't know diving terms) that also pushed him out a little further. You have to know how far you have to jump out in order not to hit rocks or ground. This was carefully calculated. But I wonder how they calculated how far he had to jump out. I know they have tools that can measure distances, lasers and such but I'm only aware of how to do it on only land. I'm still in awe over this gosh I want to go there and see it with my own eyes. I actually want to see a video of the very first time he tried this you know he had to have been scared out of his mind but since their guys they don't show it. This is the reason why most of my friends were dudes, they were fearless like I was and in any unfavorable situations, most girls will get you caught, hurt or killed (unless they're mothers because most of us Mama's are just like mama bear's, we'll gain immediate strength, willpower and our intuition will alert us of danger even if you aren't where the danger strikes. Example: it'll make me look like a bad mom but I'm not worried about anyone's judgement bc I learned my lesson; I was a new mom and my daughter was about a months and a half old. She was trying to roll over at this time but she hadn't done it yet. I placed her on the middle of my bed while she was sleeping and I went to the bathroom which was just a door away in the hallway but the bathroom was huge and the toilet and sinks were in the first room and the second room there was a shower and a makeup mirror(technically it was 2 doors away thenl. I was in the shower room and something told me something wasn't right. So I ran out of the bathroom into the hallway and I seen her just at the edge of the bed and caught her mid air. I don't know what but something alerted me danger was happening and I listened to it and if I wouldn't have, my daughter could have been badly hurt or worse. Trust me I never did that again! But it just goes to show that us Mamas are connected to our children in a spiritual way and I know this is totally unrelated to the topic at hand. Sorry for my babbling lol)

  • On a certain level, we have WOW in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the brain can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the brain can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.

Owen Weymouth, a former World High Diving Federation gold medal winner who sharpened his skills at the Plymouth Life Centre and Cornwall's Adrenalin Quarry, has kept busy over the past year, showing off his mind-boggling diving skills in a series of film clips. The 22-year-old, who is now based in Minnesota where he coaches youngsters at the Minnesota Diving Academy, recently completed the 75ft dive from a cliff on the Eleuthera island in the Bahamas. He told PlymouthLive: "It's not one of the main islands. We were filming a documentary series of Red Bull diving and we'd done a couple of places in the States and branched out to the Caribbean.
