Franklin is probably a good beginners glove, maybe for very young little league or as a dad glove, but once you start getting serious and the pitches start hitting 80+, the Wilson is definitely a good investment.
Thank you so much for the advice
also a Rawlings depending on the glove, I use a heart of the hide and I play highschool/travel and am seeing 80+ normally and I think wilson and rawlings are equally as good
We ohh mmm by McCain HTC hi see ocbvcghijjhxnnk@@paulamartinez5291 HKMMZZj😮n but I B vc 😢Lok😅fffg. 😢cy😢cf😢🎉 no😊AB BK
I’ve used rawlings gloves the whole time i’ve played baseball.

When I was a college/ university catcher, I also loved my $300 glove . Make it through all my pony/ colt to high school to college. Then Donated to my sons, the glove a endurance over 30 years and going strong

I actually bought that same wilson glove back in april, just recently probably got it fully broken in after 12 games and some practices as well. Great glove though
Yessir gotta love when Lapp bros premiering
Ive caught my entire life and played high school and D1. currently a catcher in an Indy ball league. Ive primarily used a Rawlings glove for both catching and fielding since I started playing ball. However, this last year I made the switch from an Rawlings pro preferred to the Wilson A2K ($399) and I am 10000% happy. Once you start getting into higher level ball either a Rawlings or Wilson is a great investment I just now prefer the Wilson. I like the way the ball hits the pocket and the shape the pocket better. The Franklins are great for kids just starting out. In travel or HS I’d use either a Rawlings, Wilson or an allstar as kids start to throw harder
I had like a$ 70 r9 catcher's mitt. I always thought it was good until i tried and new custom glove I got for middle school. A more expensive catchers mitt is a whole other world
R9 is as actual better for smaller hand kid than a GG! My son used the 32 inch from 10 to 14 but is starting high-school this year with custom HFH 33 along with matching outfield/pitcher 12.5 HFH...he been had his A2000 11.75 for time on mound past two years!
Since I am a lousy catcher I need all the help I can get so I will take the $300 glove! Also I think that sprinting at Troy is an excellent idea and everybody should do that!🤪
I just saw this comment😂 I had no idea what they were planning there at the end

Great job guys! Fantastic fun content, with good reviews. Keep them coming!
Hey, The next time you do one of these could you do a first base mitt? Also love the content!
As a first baseman I would love to see this too.
I love this video i almost watch it every day after team roping
Nothing like the lap bros to brighten my day
This is my favorite baseball channel
It’s seems not like the raindrop. It is the solid oil in the glove. And the dots are only find on the expensive gloves, because it has good quality of leather.
I’m so exited for this as a catcher I think more expensive mitts are thicker and bigger but I’m still real exited because lappbros is awesome Edit: next video types of people getting new gear
True, you definitely want a more padded glove if you're paying more
excited*
Same and when I first started playing catcher I had cheap glove and then when I started to get older I got a more expensive one and it wouldn’t sting
@@joshweinberg6367 lol my bad 😂😂

Underrated for sure
This channel is the definition of comedy
Love these guys
I took my headphones out for the period when your were doing pop tests. I started crying because of all the wonderful pop noises the glove could’ve made. This might ruin my life forever. 😭
lapp bros are back
-The pop, some of you may not think that its important, well shut up cuz it is 🤣🤣🤣
YOUR CAMERAS ARE AMAZING 🤩
I have a feeling this is gonna be a banger. Not because I was there or anything...
Your awesome
@@amberjenkins5059 thanks!😄
The best words ever “it’s not an inch, but it’s nice”😅😂
Finally catcher video thank you
This is gon be awsome cuz I’m a catcher and in tiny in 4’3
Do a first baseman one like this pls
Lapp bros are my favorite baseball channel

A2000 Pudge Rodriguez version, bought it in 8th grade (2001) still going strong
Love u so so much lap bros
For your next “test” You should have your buddy buy five different gloves and see if you can figure out where they fall into price categories.
The Denver in lancaster field I live 20 mins. Away and used to play there
When I played only Played catcher and I had little bigger than that one but I also repadded that palm part and used it for years. Spent time and under $ 70
I totally agree.
sup broskie love the videos they are so funny
Do a 30$ first base mitt vs 300$ first base mitt
Yes
Can u please bring back the plate crate unboxings!!! I miss it so much
Me too
You should compare first base mitts
I have never played ball before but i have always wanted to play cather just ordered a Wilson catcher mitt
"Smells like...Amish MEN?" 🤣 Enjoy Lancaster, PA No mask, no cup, no chance.
It obviously depends on how hard the pitching is and the ability of the catcher
This is the best channel
Best channel ever
Have you ever heard a Japanese catcher glove's pop in a bullpen ? Its Beautiful
Bro ngl I feel like lap bros could be a fishing channel
A2000s were a thing when I was a kid! Me and Honus Wagner had 'em.
1:02got me dead 💀
Can you do slow pitch outfielders gloves next for softball?
0:35 Isaiah doing parkour
You should do same thing but with a first baseman glove
Yes it is
All depends the use are u gonna used if is for profesional 300 but it’s for a friendly game the 30
While personally I think the A2000 catchers mitt is the very best, I actually prefer Rawling heart of hyde fielding gloves over the Wilson A2000, but when it comes to catchers mitts I hate the Rawlings mitt and think the A2000 is the best, well the Under Armour genuine pro catchers mitt is pretty great too... Anyway, but while the A2000 catchers mitt is my favorite, it's not the most expensive.. the All Star pro elite which is probably the most popular catchers mitt, it costs 450 bucks...
Yo, that's my home field, we whooped lititz there 😂
yo lapp bros do a dirtbike stereo type
My son loves your videos thx
BEST CHANNEL EVER
I agree
@@troycastellitto OMG ITS YOU!
@@michaelcraddock7744 oh YEAH!!!
Did you taste the leather?
The pop noise sound like a gunshot
Catcher Gloves You can try hatakeyama, the best brand of catcher gloves from Japan.
My friend had the 300$ I used it and I felt nothing. It was so hard to break in. The only way it did was in tournaments and he threw like 80’s
Can't wait!!!!
That A2000 pop, sound like a shotgun goin off , imo the sweetest sound in baseball gotta b the crack of the bat then the pop..
Isiah is hilarious
Idk if the pop of a new glove is better then when you hit the sweet spot on a broke in wood bat
bro i wish i had that 300 one bro its look so cool
15 years from now that move will be a trifecta tear in your knees.
For sure worth… padding starts to rot and its a nightmare. Also if you constantly are catching 90 mph + you need a glove every 8 months period as a catcher. Higher quality tier gloves are just built differently 🤷♂️
I have the expensive catchers glove the exact one 😂
You can do that with a firstbaseman glove
I love my All-star Pro Elite Mitt.
The pop it’s similar depends the speed of the pitcher
I’ve never heard so many names for a glove😂🤣
Anyone notice how good his frames are😂
yes it matters
I'm a catcher but I don't have a glove bc we haven't been able to find one so can u tell me where u got both of them
If you have a dicks close by that would be a great place to find on. I’m also a catcher and I got mine from hibbet but I don’t know if there are hibbets outside of Arkansas.
@@CooperClayton4 thanks
1st base glove next
You are Reilly Good At Baseball
Serious question: which is harder, baseball or softball?
Same Sport
My fav Chanel
As a catcher scoops don’t really matter all that really matters is as long as you keep the ball in front of you
I'm a catcher in my coach has a as a catcher's meant that I have to use which has a small pocket
You should spend $300 on a catchers glove for outfield lol 😂
Great video exactly what I expected. Franklin is a starter little league glove. My grandson is 13 in travel ball as a pitcher. He bought a new glove this year custom 44 Pitchers/infielders glove. Also has a Rawlings Heart of the Hide glove too. Oh BTW you have great looking legs.
11:59 Man sounds like a cuckoo clock 😂😂😂
We live close to that field!!
I got the jersey the truck that went past that you looked up at close to the beginning after I left with my dad
I saw you at luneir park remember the kid on the gold scooter
that’s our home field man!!!!!
U throwing the 300 dollar glove and kicking it as hard u can is more of the break in process than it breaking 😭
Where is the taste test we nee a taste test
I was like bro I got a watch this when I seen video because I’m always catcher in my baseball team😃
what position do you actually play
yes
Not pose "scope" balls in dirt..only cover the 5th hole! Only time is backhand scoop is if running has ALREADY took off cause then block recovery will never get him but if its iff speed still best to BLOCK IT!!!
