❤ Beautiful lamp!
Thank you so much!
I would probably do each section separate to not have wrinkles.
Me too!
Oh my goodness ! Just what I’ve been looking for ! So BEAUTIFUL 💐🦋🐝🐞💕
Thank you!
If you want less fisible "seams/lines" in your decoupage...you could fray the edges, of your paper, by tearing the edges by hand (instead of having straight, hard edges). Your "pattern" will be more fluid that way.✌🏻😊
Use a paint or pastrybrush to wet the paper around the design so it tears with a feathered edge.
I've been hanging on to some lovely old shades forever. Now I know why. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for watching!! I hang onto shades too. The possibilities are endless, plus they are so expensive to buy!
That's got to be the craziest decopage I've ever seen..
Yep. Let's keep it honest!
I would have liked to have seen a full profile of the lamp. I liked the shade. Look a little shabby chic.
Your lamp came out gorgeous 😍 So didn't that beautiful drop leaf table. Really gorgeous 😍 love it
Thank you so much Lynn!
I love the method you used😅 looks great like that. Nothing is perfect 🎉❤
Thank you! My motto is imperfectly perfect. Because you are right nothing is perfect. I’ve always loved things that were imperfect. Thank you so much for watching!
Pretty!!
You could have that base rebrassed
I like this very much!
Didn’t like the wrinkled finish of the lamp shade. Seemed like a very sloppy, rushed job.
What a mess😱🫣🫢
That paper is gorgeous!
Adorable ‼️
This looks awesome. I just repainted one lamp base too. I just wish you showed us how it looks in pitch black.
The lamp sold. But I will try to remember that for next time!
Where did you purchase your paper? It is beautiful and it's "forgiving", meaning easy to work with, doesnt require matching up at the seams. A dark print would require more detailed efforts. Beautiful Outcome, and (I'm OCD, one of those perfectioists) ... but I allow others their Creative space, after all "Lucky is always desired over Perfectionism anytime"! ... and Your choice in paper is so gorgeous and lucky cause it's easier! Hi . I am a retailer for this paper . @blendedvintagemarketplace.com
WOW! You made this lamp look so beautiful with the paint and the decoupage over the lampshade. I just LOVE it. Did you use chalk paint on the lamp and the shade? I have an antique table lamp which is porcelain and it's in the shape of a tree with a blue bird in the branches and a white cat at the base of the lamp. I love the lamp but I need to change the old shade which was made in the '80's and it's awful! 😅 But underneath the old fabric there's a plain white stiff shade that looks like it might be part of the original lamp, but it's slightly discoloured with age. Do you think I could paint it with white chalk paint? Thank you for a great video tutorial. Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia
Hi Amanda 😊thank you so much for watching my video ! Yes I used chalk paint. Chalk paint works well pretty much on most surfaces. I’m sure that it will work or your shade. I’ve used chalk paint on lamp shades many times. Have fun painting yours 😊
What material is used for lamp can u plz share
Hi! I used decoupage paper on the shade . The paper was applied right on the shade with decoupage glue
Can I use cut up music paper on a lampshade?
Yes of course. As long as the paper is the decoupage paper
Just to say thank you so much for getting in touch with me,l really appreciate your help with the paper, I can now get on and do my lampshade now! Lol. All the best, Trace
@@tracy9792 but of course!! As long as the paper is like stock paper but more like decoupage paper you should be good to go!
Where do you get the tissue paper from.. plz? TIA
blendedvintagemarketplace.com/. I sell it in my shop
It is called a floor lamp.
A little messy
I didn't hear what kind of paper she's using.
Hi 🙂I’m using Roycycled decoupage paper .
Could you speak up , can barely hear you. Thanks
Im sorry but thats a terrible job, doesnt even match up ,sloppy 😂
I agree, nothing is matched, the bird needed grounding on something
Your workmanship is sloppy. I could never use a lampshade that looked like that.
Was this lampshade in a accident ??? 😂😂😂
